If Leeds drop two points that puts a bit of pressure on Ipswich to take their chance, then they choke and lose, and then we fucking steam on in there on the back of a 4-0 annihilation of Birmingham.
-
Which made it all the more dopey five months later when despite 20+ unbeaten we were basically as far behind Leicester as we were in September. Anyway, Ipswich and Leeds to lose today and we're back on the second place train.
-
Also a West Ham fan who might fancy his chances if another manager comes in.
-
Whatever happens today, we end the day in fourth. The delusions about us winning the league seem like a bloody long time ago now.
-
And nobody has any idea what will happen. Well, I say nobody...

If by "Saints Shirt" you mean "Uniform for waiting staff at a 50s themed Americana restaurant" then yes, would be lovely.

He has played 13 matches at Championship level in his entire life before signing for us. And two bit parts for us. He's proved nothing to anyone yet.
-
When they bring in safe standing all twelve verses will be ringing round the ground no problem.

Our unbeaten run in the FA Cup looks like it is over.

We're playing well. If anything I would just like to see a few more passes between our full backs and centre backs and the keeper in our own box.
-
Brooks would have scored that.
-
Obviously that was going to happen.

Can you do me next?

Say what you like about the boy but now unbeaten in four. In the last three matches he has played the top three in the division, unbeaten, two draws and a win. I think the Charlton fans will start believing.

E-I-E-I-E-I-O fixture rearrangement we go

Surely to God Sports Republic are going to go all out to but St Mirren? Or St Johnstone. https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/status/1762575887294251016?t=Lf3Ow5Vo4SATvVXeh1rREA&s=19

Come on Leicester! (I want our game moved)
-
Even if we keep playing like now we'll still make the play offs. Sunderland finished sixth with 69 points last season, were two points off that now. If you assume worst case (we win one in four for the rest of the season) we are on for 76 points which is play offs in pretty much any season. But the idea we go from nearly two points a game to less than a point a game (Sheffield Wednesday form) is pretty fanciful. So not really an if, to be honest.

It's a shame the club didn't go with the original plan of a man in a giant Bargate costume walking around the perimeter of the pitch.
-
We are finishing in the play offs no problem. We have enough bloody nonsense about catching Leicester without now going in the opposite, equally ridiculous direction. We will absolutely be in the play offs. (At least, I haven't completely ruled out second place because we still get to play Ipswich and Leeds).

Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure I mention that in the post you quoted.

It's a shame Neil Harris fucking hates losing even more, he's done Russell over twice in one season no bother. Is that how it works?
-
Well done our recruitment team for avoiding all those hundreds of professional football managers who aren't really that fussed about losing.
-
My first manager, really. The Lawrie years was something my dad and brothers talked about. But this, this was my team. Thanks for the memories.
