  1. I think we will win, they do not like it up um
  2. H man city 3 points A Frenchcastle 1 point H QPR 3 points A Norwich 1 point H Liverpool 3 point H Chelsea 0 points A Reading 0 points H West Ham 3 points A Swansea 0 points H West Brom 3 points A Spurs 0 points A Sunderland 0 point H Stoke 3 points 20 more point, that should do it!
  3. Yes I look at this all the time, keep you points level with games played, and Winona the final day, will give you the magic 40 points. But we are nearly there and will be above with a win on Saturday.
  4. Oh I forgot the massive comeback point against Chelsea, and this post did make me feel more positive. Lets beat City!
  5. Oh I can see the bright future, but it is this season I am worried about. With Reading and Newcastle stringing win together. A couple of wins soon will make things much better, but this league is tough, and I would have been more confident if we held out yesterday. How long can we say that we outplayed teams without the 3 points. What is it 14 games left?
  6. Not many seem to think that we will go down, and this is good, and I am one of these. I am though a little worried that we are not winning enough games, and why we are pretty poor in the first half and look a op team in the second. Also a factor of our 2004/2005 season was throwing away leads late on, which we have done at Stoke and Wigan. If you look at the facts. 1-3 up at Stoke and only took a point Out played arsenal, but only took a point Outplayed Everton but only took a point Outplayed Man U in the second half and had the lead, but got noting Now outplayed Wigan, and they get a late point. This is 5 games that we should have got more than we did. As I said I am really happy with the way we can play, but what happens when we do not produce this form? I know the forest relegation team where always told that thy played football the right way, but lets face it lads we need wins. I was gutted yesterday, and even though my 4 year old is over it, I may need until this evening. I am hoping we over run Man City and take all 3 points to relieve some pressure at the bottom. But how late do we have to go in front o hold on. I am a little worried, but have had some tough matches. I look at march and April as the time we could and should pick up wins. Losing is a bad habit, but so is drawing, when wins are what you need, and what the game is about!
  7. I always remember the head over the ball to keep it down, and lean back to lift it. Another was never play the ball across your own box! Always stay goal side of the attacker. We failed to do all these in the first half.....but so did Wigan in the second! Funny old game.
  8. I have to point out I am not blaming anyone, but that is just our luck at the moment, but that has to change. Look at reading they cannot continue the rub of the green they are having, but they are still behind us. Shaw is fantastic, and would fit into any premier league first team, but he is a Saint.... How lucky are we
  9. Oh and believe me there were many basic mistakes in the first half than that, but we looked completely different in the second half. Should have had 7 points from the last 3 games, and we have 2! We need to pick up points not the praise for great play. Ask the relegated Forest team from the 90's.
  10. Yep the argument, for and against having the man on the line. Around the other way and the first would have been cleared off the line, and the second offside! That's football! We learnt from the first half goal, only for it to work against us with their late second!
  11. You say this, but then having someone on the post with the corner at the end cost us, as shaw fell asleep and did not get out. He was fantastic the rest of the game. Argument for and against the man on the post for both goals conceded.
  12. It was fecking freezing though!
  13. First away game for my 4 year old daughter, and she was in tears as it was to loud!
  14. Teams at the bottom will let in late goals, especially away from home! We could never be able to press like that for 90 minutes, so we know where we stand at half time. Might see if I can get a second half season ticket.
  15. How are we in the ****? Everyone in the bottom 3 now drew, and so did we, and Wigan, and QPR were at home. We are still 3 points better off with a better goal difference. Play like we did in the second half, and we will overrun any team, bring on City!
  16. In the second half, you are right. In the first half I was worried, and could see a relegation battle ahead, with individual mistakes and lack of idea in the last 3rd. Second half, we looked like we could give anyone a good game. Still Wigan are poor, but Man U and not, and we did the same to them.
  17. I want to know if it is part of our away tactics to just stay in the game first half, and then up the tempo and press up the field? You could not do this for 90 minutes. We were awesome from about 55 minutes and pressed and pressed, then got the breakthrough, only for them to get a cheap equaliser. Was less than impressed with the first 45, but looked a completely different team in the second half, and I could not believe some of the closing down we did. Things I was worried about in the first half, individual defensive mistakes, and no one would shoot. Even Morgan put it out of play 8 yards out!! Still a game of two half, and should have won easy in the end!
  18. We look pretty handy, so if we do not, I think it will because something has gone seriously wrong.
  19. Normally for European nights, but I cannot see the Man U v Liverpool ones catching on to well!
  20. At last we have the first sensible answer!
  21. Yes yes yes, nailed on win then!
  22. Rip Kev, up the Saints!
  23. Me and my daughter are going. Here first away game! I am believing all on here that e can pay on the day, as I have not had time to check!
  24. Neville nutkins should go and try to turn the fortunes of forest, would be a great club for him.
