I wondered why the long lists of part time jobs in Tesco had disappeared over the last few months! I cannot believe that boots take part in this 'scheme' as they are right up there with there equal rights and strict non discrimination policy. Apprentice schemes are there to learn a trade, so the time given by the company is training, so you can go on and work in that area. But ou do not need to be trained to stack shelves, and how do these companies view their customer service, as those people are not going to be motivated to give 'great' customer service. I expect they keep them behind closed doors. The only bonus I can see, and if I was in their position would be to work there for 6 months, and then apply for a job at another supermarket for a job, that is paid. This is what I would do, turn it round to your own gain in the long run. You need to be paying these people, it is just not right to make people work for nothing!

I was in training for the 2009 marathon, but broken down with a knee injury.... I was gutted after all the effort I put in, now I start all over again.

I watched a lot of interviews with Eddie Izard and he was saying it is ALL in the head, you can do it. He ran 1 a day for a month. Yoga also just makes you feel good and relaxed and at ease. IMO.

Brilliant, and what I would love to do more than my once a week on Friday.

Good for you, I want to do this is 2013. Need to lose weight and get up to full fitness first. I would also recommend yoga, and before you laugh it off, it is great for you mindset. Running a marathon is also all to do with you head. Let me know you just giving link closer to the time and I will be happy to support a fellow Saint!

Agree with this. We as a set of fans do not seem to be a midweek set of fans! I work in London so would be rude not to.

Really tickets left? You sure? I might have to make this one!

How far do people travel to work? I have worked for the same company for 4 years now and used to travel 7 minutes in my car door to door for work. In August they moved the offices to Bedford square in London. I now how to walk 10 minutes to and from the station this end, and 15/20 minutes the other end with a 32 minute fast train, or the slower 50 minute train. I had a job while in Southampton where I had to travel to reading and back every day by car. This would range from 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on traffic and weather. I have also had a job where I got driven half way, then got a train, then a bus and then walk.... I left after a month. How far do you travel to work, and what lengths have you gone to to get there.

Don't do weights, just does not do it for me, I like the high tempo exercise. Used to love spinning!

Was there any snow in Southampton? I just realised that I posted this on a forum for Southampton fans, and there was not any snow down there!

Just wondering if anyone else on here does exercise and wht they do? At the moment I am on the cross trainer 3 times a week, I referee Sunday am and pm, and Wednesday evenings. I also Monday to Friday walk about 3 miles to work and back. My fitness is quite good, but need to lose couple of stone. Cardio is the best for burning fat, so the above are quite good.

My now 3 and half year old does not like snow. Does not like going out in it, and does not want to build a snow man. Tried last year and she went nuts. This year went to go out for a walk in it, dressed her up in jumper, coat, hat, scalf and gloves, got half way down the path and she cried to come in. I now have to wait for my 10 year old to get in so I can build a snowman! Unless it melts before then. I say this as my other daughter has always loved snow, and she saw less of it then my youngest who has seen it every year since she was born!

Yes because Southampton is great!

Great response from him, but a lot more to prove. As someone else has said he has the ability, but has he the right temperament? Also I am worried if he upsets the team spirt, but everyone seems to be back on board the bus. Next stop premier league?
