Really need us and another to start opening a gap, so a West Ham win would be good on this front, as it cuts Blackpool off from the pack a bit, and stops them all grouping up.

I like Nick, never had a problem with him. He does not speak for me, but has some interesting views, and seems to always be contacted for the 90's times whenever someone wants to talk Saints or football on the South Coast. Let's face it, he did help head up the best Southampton Football Club fanzine of all time. He is a good person, who believe it or not has the best interests of Southampton FC at heart. I think most of us on here have the best for Southampton FC at heart, with how we see things, and how things should be done, but you would not think so when reading some of the posts.

I thought they had sold out on Friday or sometime last week. Then this evening, I saw in the new on the OS that the family tickets had sold out! Some ALL gone now, and just down the road for me.

They are our rivals! It is all a bit of fun. Singing who the f is laughing now, at a Saints v Derby match is blinking pointless, as no one has a clue what we are on about, apart from our fans, it just does not make sense. They were not listening, well apart from Claridge! I think skatesville is a little more pikey/chavy than Southampton , but Southampton much more pikey/ than Brighton. I challenge you to find someone in a tracksuit and a baseball cap in Brighton....it is tough! Walk through any part of Southampton and you will find plenty. But Brighton is just far to trendy!

My refereeing season is going well. Great game yesterday. Was refereeing an under 16 side, who could could not kick a ball last season, but now a year on can really thump a ball, was weird, but was amazed how they have grown physically. Love refereeing. Amazes me teams struggling so much last season who are flying this season with the same team, just shows how talent changes as they get older.

I am after 2 tickets, one for me and one for my daughter who is 9. I will of course take 2 adult tickets. If anyone can help, that would be great. Cheers

Saying this I think he was on drugs yesterday as he seemed in a strange mood. When we sang Nigel, Nigel give us a wave, he jumped out of his seat, and really waved like a madman. Ok it was 3-0 at the time with 15 minutes left, but it is normally a small wave. He really did wave and start punching the air. I think he was really genuiney happy that everything came together again, and two of his subs scored, and one of his new signings.

Football aside, what do you do as a family at the weekend? Never seem to have enough money to do stuff, and I referee Sunday morning and afternoon. Now we are a family of 3 just feel we should be doing more as a family, but what?

Oh and others... ... QPR away 1-4 when shearer was playing for us 1989/90? Leicester away 0-4 at filbert street was it around 2001. Liverpool away 2-3 when David hurst was player 99?

Cannot believe that people bid for players that they know they will not get, as someone said above just to please the masses. Need to be realistic all the time. Ok we pushed the boat out a bit when we went after Hooper, but that was an Adkins connection. A lot of clubs bid for players that are out of there league so the fans still believe they are a big club.

Nothing wrong with listening to Thunderstruck, I often YouTube it, and it still sends shivers down my spine.... It is one hell of an intro.

I think his players listen to him, and respect him. He is doing a fantastic job, not sure how anyone can slag him for lightening the mood.

Do you not like Adkins? I love his interviews, he is so calm, and that rubs off on the players.

I have never had a problem with Claridge, always speaks sense, and is honest. Let's face it with have a great club, with a great future. The future is bright, the future is red and white.
