It is the same old pattern. The first truly good team played ends in defeat. Take the lead in semis or the final, sit back, lose. You would think that, simply by the law of averages, that it would eventually lead to a win. But, no. It will just never happen. Given the players England have had over the years, the return of one single win is a total joke. I am already resigned to the fact the I will never see England win anything in my lifetime. But it would be nice to actually see the team be brave and try and win rather than hope for the opponent to fail. Tuchel needs to go.

Seemed like a classic Southgate performance to me. Weren't we told it would be different under Tuchel. Everyone in that stadium and watching on TV could see that defending deep after the goal was suicidal. The only way we were going to win was by getting a second goal. Yet with each additional defender that came on, they had more and more chances. Same old story. Nothing is EVER going to change.

So glad I didn't bother going to this one. It is just not happening today.

On the train back from the match. Shit stadium, no atmosphere, pissing rain, massive queues everywhere, half and half scarf tourists and the worst match I have seen since Will Still. All a bargain at $1000 a ticket. Really wish I hadn't bothered with it all. And, how did Kane miss that sitter? Ghana celebrated like they won the world cup but their players spent more time rolling around on the ground than on their feet.

In Boston now. The weather is freaking awful - 16C and raining. The same for the whole of tomorrow so conditions should suit England, but it will be horrible in the stadium for the fans. There is not cover of any sort in the stadium. England fans are in good voice in the Irish pubs around the city. The Scots just left and managed to put traffic cones on the heads of all the historic statues in the city! The long journey to the stadium starts at 10.30am tomorrow. Come on England.

The England defence is so static and ridiculously deep. Looks like the last several tournaments. It seems like some people never learn.

It is just bleeding typical that the day the football authorities finally grow some balls, it is us in the dock. The punishment is way over the top to the point we probably won't see such harsh punishment again. However, the club owes us all to expose which imbeciles thought this would be a good idea. Whoever it is needs to be sacked immediately and, if I were running the club, sued for compensation. Not only has it screwed this season it has most likely screwed next season too. Bunch of half-witted morons. The fans deserve better than the cretins that have been running this club.

Just imagine if the first half of the season had not been completely wasted. Fantastic tonight. Keep it going.

What a goal!!!!!!!!!!!

This certainly is a stroke of genius from those clever spods at Sport Republic. We have needed a new striker since Ings left and have watched the masterful selling of strikers each year without bringing in anyone who can kick a football as replacements. Therefore, it is quite obvious that the plan this window should have been to sell our top scorer and replace him with a traffic cone. At least he should be better than Downs. We had all better hope that RS can play the rest of the season. Great plan by Sport Republic to rely completely on a player that has hardly played for years and another that has hardly scored for years. They really are far more clever than anyone else.

This whole club is an embarrassing, pathetic piece of shit. Nothing will change until Sport Republic piss off, and that can't come soon enough.

It is tough when you have to score three goals in any game to have a chance of winning. Oh, well, the players got the manager they wanted so there is no need to try anymore. New manager, same typical Sport Republic performance.

Terrible second half - hardly had a kick in the last 20 minutes. The team has absolutely no shape once the procession of substitutions starts. Can't remember a defender winning a challenge. It is just so soft. Good thing we actually tried to attack in the first half, and that the forwards are currently converting.
-
So passive in the second half again. Only Saints can let a team like this back in.

According to a recent "Keeping Possession" report, the ownership of Sport Republic Ltd is: Dragan Solak 74.9% Henrik Kraft 10.2% Rasmus Ankersen 5.5% Dirk Gerkens 5.6% Viktorija Boklag 3.8% I have no idea what that means in terms of whether Dragan to get rid of any of the hangers on or even whether that would make any difference to the way the team is run. It also doesn't make any difference to the fact that they are a useless bunch of wankers.
