He-he. Will Cope really pulling the leg of Dyer with his pick-pocketing comments. If only Dyer could hear them.
-
Agreed. I was just starting a new post when we scored, so I changed it to say 1-1. It seemed to take an eternity to post through.
-
It starts from today if I remember correctly. Does anybody know where the timeslot is for the Championship MOTD is..?

You should try Radio Solent's supposedly biased coverage, Arizona. If Tony Husband is commentating you can be sure that all the bias is with the opposition. Consequently, I'm happy with Radio Hampshire. Oops, that last bit reads like an advert. No doubt it'll be accused of such, along with my new USA Cheerleader status.

1-1

Indeed.

Ah reality..!

How on earth have they come to that conclusion..? Up until about 5 minutes ago, Cardiff have hardly had a kick, apart from giving corners away, and illegal pass backs to their keeper.
-
I'm sure 3 would have been enough today.

Yeah, I wondered whether it did. I had all sorts of problems with my membership though. Apparently, all the moderators and admin were banned at one point.

OK, I'll PM the Admins for you. But they should know already by now.

It sounds like the movement from the Lads is all that I've wished the teams from the last 5 seasons would have had.
-
Correct.
-
PM the Admins, and use your squirming best vocabulary. EDIT: Oh dear, forgot you can't.
-
Nope. Mine is perfect.

Listening to the Saints TV feed and co-commentator Dave Armstrong is having difficulty NOT to keep referring back to the time when Saints had everything going in the right direction only 5 seasons ago. It still hurts like hell when you think about it, but we mustn't keep thinking about it. Today is the start of a new season and we're all equal, with equal opportunity. It's a bright shiny new squad [almost literally] with the best defender/captain in the Championship playing for us. Good luck people.

welcome back to another 9 months of doom and gloom!

I was trying to think of the way of writing the sound of a sharp intake of breath. But I gave up and did that eeewww instead. I'm not proud of it. -

Eeeewww. Let's try to be a bit more positive DSM. After all it's the start of the season, and there's plenty of time to get all iffy. -
Wouldn't do that. Not my favourite film, although I can't deny it is superb. For me I have to really enjoy a film throughout for it to be an absolute favourite. 2001 is more of a great experience than an enjoyment. Consequently, there are less good films that I enjoy more. I wouldn't dream of saying they are better though. Note the Avatar..!

Agreed. Besides, if I find I'm being drawn too much to the TV on a regular basis, there's a strong desire in me to get away and do something active instead. I might give Saints TV some money this year though.

Back to a little more serious tack; there have been plenty of lives lost already. Some reports stating around 1000+ civilians and soldiers. I just hope both sides see sense before it really explodes out of hand, if 1000+ dead in a few days isn't getting out of hand. For the more inward thinking of this forum, you can possibly look forward to the economic downturn becoming a proper recession, as this tips the global economy into real uncertainty. For myself, I know what economic uncertainty does to my line of business, but that pales into comparison to what people in the battle zone are possibly suffering. And it's all about energy and resources. This is the future.

Just thought I'd mention that it's on Film 4 this evening at 9pm. There must be one or two people out there still, who haven't watched one of the best films ever made..? Tonight's another chance.
-
Another fictional piece: The Shawshank Redemption. It has its moments where a lump the size of a football can appear in the throat. I mention it because it's on Film 4 tonight at 9pm. Perhaps a chance for the last few people who've never seen it to actually do so. Or record it for later.

Do they still lube the bike engines with it..?
