I find it hard to believe we would be in this situation if we’d have made the Marsch deal happen. He would have caused various other issues no doubt but we’d still be actually going for it each game. This just feels like slow euthanasia under Selles.

I can’t remember a single notable moment from us in that game bar the inevitably offside goal. Just a haze of mediocre nothingness. Zero personality. That’s worse than a mid season 9-0

This board are a joke. There’s simply no time to fuck around anymore. After the debacle of Jones, and all the money splashed on varying degrees of mediocre players over the last year, NOW they want to save a couple of quid? We don’t have to go down. It’s extremely fecking likely, but it’s not a given and if they really don’t want it to happen they need to get someone in to start working with the players. FFS.

Any truly decent manager isn’t primarily motivated by money. They’ll absolutely look at the bigger picture and make a decision based on that.
