I thought that they did look tired last night but I also thought (and this is taking nothing away from a very well organised Swindon side) that it was just "A Bad Day at the Office" last night. There were enough goalmouth scrambles (esp. in the first half) that on another day would have seen us 3 - 0 up at halftime. Swindon came out and absolutely slaughtered us for a good 20 mins, but after their goal, the game was played in their half and we just wouldn`t have scored if we had played for another 90mins.

I was a job to tell. He was a dour always serious style of manager who didn`t do humour or suffer fools gladly.

I actually seem to remember Branfoot being interviewed after he got the job as manager and he was asked what his ambitions were for Saints and he said something like "to win the Premier League and then the Champions League (or whatever it was in those days)" Hmmm......

But the point is that there is NOTHING to campaign about! What Hoddle could have or would have achieved is pure conjecture. There is no proof that he would have been any better if he had come back to us than he did at Spurs or Wolves. It just "what if" and the answer is "Nobody Knows!" Not even you!

Almost as bad as Dalek2003 and his Hoddle obsession!
