Completely agree . Much rather stay in the cup and not make the play offs. In fact if it wasn't financially important I would rather stay where we are .

I would like to see Tonda given plenty of time to hone his managerial skills here. He seems to learn very quickly from his mistakes and in a few seasons I think we will lose him to a premiership club.

Well last night was great but I hope the club will draw a Nigel Adkins red line under it now and concentrate on the next game. I know it is only a cup game but we need to keep momentum. I have just had a quick look at the table and upcoming fixtures and I think we could be back in 15th place by the time we play again.

I had an email last night from Saints foundation and I have won 4 " Directors guest " tickets to the Norwich at the beginning of March . I have no idea what this means but I assume that might explain some of the away allocation of tickets as well.

The problem with dropping Manning (I know defensively poor) is that he has either scored or assisted in nearly 25% of our goals this season. He is probably also directly or indirectly at fault for the same proportion conceded. . Would Wellington be that much better defensively or would he be able to add goals and assists to his game . Big call for a manager and I am glad I don't have to make it.
