  1. Got me! You're right - I should have excluded them too. I just wanted to see how I 'performed'.
  2. Labour 69% Green 68% LibDems 54% Tory 25% I didn't ask for any others because, as the poll says, 'don't select any party you wouldn't consider voting for'.
  3. According to the taters just now, on seeing AA in the crowd: "They have re-engaged two staff - one the training ground manager" (Tug someone??) "They hope to have some positive news by the end of next month." How can he re-engage staff when he's supposed to be cutting costs?
  4. You're right - senior amnesia kicking in I can remember working very hard, canvassing and leafleting but it must have been for the council elections. The LibDems were just beginning to show their faces then. I'd moved away by the time the seat went to the LibDems in the General election.
  5. And the taters are still peddling the old 'wonderful fans' bile.
  6. ESB I'm old enough to remember when Eastleigh was Labour. I guess that was when the railway industry was really big there.
  7. teensy weensy
  8. Is there a difference, though, between potential damage from the 'ash' that is, I understand, like powdered glass and sand? Any geologists out there?
  9. Have you ever tried those strawberry planters, Dune? We did a few years ago and it was very successful and productive. Would solve the dog problem too
  10. Not anything to do with this, is it? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/8623451.stm
  11. Air ambulances are OK I think. I don't think the RAF are flying, are they? I live quite near Brize Norton and it's been noticeably quieter here.
  12. I heard on the news earlier that KLM are / have sent up a test flight.
  13. Oh right - if you interpret it that way, it must be so. I do believe Sir Alan Sugar is a Labour supporter.
  14. from Wiki: In many countries the term "upper class" was intimately associated with hereditary land ownership and titles I would suggest to you that Clegg and Brown are both middle class. You seem to take an awfully long and tortuous journey to make a totally insignificant point.
  15. Ruddy faced
  16. No they won't because there are global discussions taking place to ensure that banks are taxed worldwide.
