Completely agree. I didn't say the manager had to be English, just someone proven at this level. Can we really afford to take a gamble? FWIW I think Wotte would actually be quite good when he's allowed to bring his own players in and make his own selections. He seems to be trialling the right kinds of players for now.

I'm not normally one to say this but as we're now in league one I think it has become very important... We need someone who has experience of the ENGLISH lower leagues, someone with a proven record at this level. Fancy football will not cut it in this league as much as I enjoy watching teams who play that way. We need a team of bruisers and meatheads if we're to stand a chance.
