  1. Now wanting to be pedantic but neither of them are top 4 sides...
  2. Time to have a sweepstake on what major club he'll join now then. We should start demanding a fee for putting players in the shop window...
  3. Wishful thinking...
  4. Come on, Bobby, don't be like that. It's not your fault nobody takes any notice of your posts...
  5. His charity is probably based in the Cayman Islands...
  6. Cheers. Did have a quick look to see if I could find something but couldn't. Mental amounts of money. Though if Sunderland get him down to £60k, as sickening as it is to say, that's not too bad compared to what some players (with less talent) are on these days.
  7. They signed him as a relatively unproven youngster from Boro. Don't think he's signed a new deal since he's been there. Find it hard to believe they would offer him that kind of money straight away.
  8. Will he be getting £100k a week at Sunderland?
  9. Just seen that. Haha. If you say it in your head, it makes it sound like you're drunk.
  10. The way he rolled the ball a yard for that freekick was quite something.
  11. Saying that, it's not worth having a pop at El Tel, he wouldn't have written this and probably hasn't even seen it. He's just paid to put his name to things like this.
  12. Also, Adam Johnson for £11m is a bargain, one of the biggest bargains in a long time when compared to the transfer fees Downing went for and Jarvis is rumoured to be going for.
  13. Judging by that, I'm pretty sure El Tel didn't watch a single NPC game last season and is blissfully unaware of our financial backing.
  14. Sorry, you seem to have misunderstood my post and thought I was implying that I care what you think. No idea what the attendance was, all I know is it wasn't sold out.
  15. You seem to have forgotten our JPT win?
  16. Annoying because he isn't tweeting what you want to hear?
  17. Nope. Everybody on here was saying how Man City would sell out, why weren't they being ridiculed for mentioning attendances before the game? Why is that any different to people moaning about slow ticket sales for the Wigan game?
  18. Your username is mean't to be ironic, right? WOOOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHHHH
  19. Maybe because it shows lack of demand, lack of fan base and lack of interest.
  20. Calling a South American 'Gram' could confuse people as to what profession he's in...
  21. After the poor attendance at Man City, I doubt the club will risk taking the full allocation and you can't really blame them. If we can't sell out the first game of our Premiership return, at the home of the Premiership champions, in the same are of the country - I can't see us selling this either.
  22. Not really. I had a fair few messages from mates saying that they couldn't believe we hadn't sold out. Despite the amount of time I spend having a pop at our support, even I was surprised by just how many empty seats there were in the lower tier. Was a very poor effort. Also, I don't buy the £100 day out argument as the main reason for putting people off. Our support North of London has traditionally always been poor. We'll sell out Arsenal in minutes and plenty of people will spend around the £100 mark on a day out in London. The fact is, people couldn't be bothered to travel to Manchester, which is a shame for them.
  23. You're easily amused aren't you, petal? Not sure why you follow mine, Turkish and The Kraken's posts on this subject so closely if you find it so boring. I didn't think facts were relevant in this debate anyway. People are allowed to pluck random figures out of thin air to prove what a massive fan base we have, so I thought I might as well join in with some attendance 'facts' I too pulled out of thin air.
  24. Not sure that will matter, don't think we've ever had the upper tier there. Normally just get given the lower as we don't normally take many.
