I imagine they think they're truly hilarious. I can see them now leaving the house dressed as a clown, walking down the pub with a swagger, thinking they're really original and that everyone is going to be coming up and high-fiving them, laughing with them and generally congratulating them on being totally and utterly zany. But then there's always that moment when it all comes crashing down and this happens - You're caught on TV looking a complete and utter c*nt, thus leaving your fellow fans, football club and city open to ridicule from every corner of the globe... Why do people think that is acceptable?

Did Frank's Cousin let his offspring loose on here overnight? Plenty of posts from people completely missing the point and posting paragraph after paragraph of unrelated drivel. I particularly like the way some people have brought politics and education into the argument. What relevance does that have?

Why would he say that when he's already stated he takes pride in every aspect of the club? Are you suggesting he only takes pride in our terrace culture and not the team itself?

So you'd happily walk down the shops in your just your boxers? You'd go out for a meal wearing a clown costume? You'd go down the pub dressed as Buzz Lightyear? Of course you wouldn't, why wouldn't you? Because it's not normal. Why isn't is normal? Because society has deemed it to be abnormal behaviour. Therefore you won't do it as you'd worry about what people would think.

I can only assume FC doesn't use social media. That image of the weirdo dressed as a clown at Boro, looking like he's about to cry was plastered all over Twitter with football fans from every corner of the country ridiculing Southampton FC. I genuinely don't understand why people think that's ok.

Last time I was at Everton was for a 'Super Sunday' game. We must've had about 600 there and lost in the last minute. Those were the days...

That's exactly what it used to be. Driving to the game, straight into the ground, jester hat on and straight back home isn't a 'culture' it's just merely something that you do on a Saturday.

The fun you could have in Vegas on a professional footballers wage... Chucking $1000 chips around, a load of brasses on the go, VIP tables, all the booze you can drink and all the gear you can sniff. No better way to celebrate.
