  1. If I had my way, only those who attended Preston in the LC this season would be permitted in the stadium for the more 'glamourous' games.
  2. I think they'll be around that mark. They'll price it based on the standard of opposition rather than the amount of games we play this season. Guarantee your tickets for Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc is more of a selling point than trying to highlight the fact they'll save a few quid as we only have 19 games this season.
  3. Funny the amount of people on here who all of a sudden have enough money for a season ticket now we are back in the Premiership. Despite the fact season tickets are more than likely going to quite substantially go up in price...
  4. But going to Man Utd and getting humped 5-0 does excite you?
  5. Any designs floating around yet or haven't they got that far?
  6. There have been fairly strong rumours of it happening recently. Hopefully will happen in the next year or two.
  7. Went last summer for 5 nights en-route to Sofia for the Bulgaria v England game. Stayed in a luxury private villa 5 mins from Sunny Beach and it was the best choice we ever made. The town itself is your usual tourist trap khazi that most major resorts have become, so by day it doesn't look too great - hence why we're glad we stayed outside. Though the nightlife is class and it's dirt cheap - 50p pints and buy 1 get 1 free on Long Island Ice Tea's - the amount of booze they put in them is horrific and 99% of the time leads to memory loss. Behave yourself as the bouncers are gorillas and carry little bags, which contain a cosh and a knife normally - as a mate found out. Be warned, the food is vile. Stick to the Eastern European dishes, their attempts at 'western' food is barely edible.
  8. I'm debating if renewing my membership is worth it. Though knowing my luck, the second I cancel it, we'll go and play Ireland and Scotland away.
  9. What a load of rubbish. He's off to Spurs.
  10. Roberto Carlos. End of argument.
  11. Are they being advised by the old Iraqi Information Minister, Comical Ali? Their attempts to try and stir this up have been nothing short of comical/desperate so far.
  12. You'll be alright.
  13. Cardiff were terrible. Couldn't put more than 2 passes together and lost the ability to defend. How many play-off chances are they going to blow? Their fans must be going mad, going through the same misery and let downs every season. I thought WHU mixed it up quite well - similar to us, passed it around a bit and went long to Cole. Noble wasn't really able to get on the ball for them though and Whittingham for Cardiff was anonymous. Those 2 players makes those teams tick. As for Nolan, what is the point of him? He must have the easiest job in the world, it would appear he's paid £50k a week to shout at match officials and that's pretty much it.
  14. It'll be back under a different guise soon enough. You can be sure of that.
  15. We haven't sold out our allocations for any of the group games. Tickets are still available on the UEFA portal, I believe. If not, they will be a piece of p*ss to acquire over there. Flights and hotels have massively dropped in price as finally the backwards, money grabbing Ukrainians have realised that nobody is going as people aren't going to pay £100 a night for a bed in a dorm.
  16. You're very observant, I'll give you that. It's the close season now. The only thing we have to keep us going is in-fighting and debates on clown costumes.
  17. WHU were a different class to Cardiff last night. Imagine they'll be annoyed they didn't get more. Can't see anyone stopping them from going up now.
  18. I'm sure Spurs are desperate for a LB that hasn't beat a player with the ball in his entire career, he does a job for us but that's about it. Spurs whole game is about using their pace out wide. Hence why they have Essou-Akotto and Walker bombing on supprting Bale and Lennon on every attack. He's the complete opposite of the type of LB they would want. Anyway, carry on...
  19. It's quite clear you've applied no logic to your thought process. We're clearly talking about the fans here, what on earth have the players got to do with this debate?
  20. Wouldn't mind the Scottish cup final myself. Should be a tasty atmosphere.
  21. Great video. Morgan's ball for Lallana's goal at Ipswich still makes me hard.
  22. As the official club awards go, I can confirm that Lambert has won player of the season, Lallana has won players player and Ward-Prowse has won young player of the year. The reason I know is I've seen the trophies. Gotta love Facebook...
  23. Agreed. Terrible day out. We got there so early there weren't any OB at the station, though they found us an hour later and gave us the option of the day in the cells or getting in the meat wagon and they'll drive us to the ground. We managed to bully the steward into opening the 'cage' doors early and we slipped over the road for a few beers. Ended up in a pub with Swansea's banned lads and they were spot on. Even booked us cabs back into town later that evening.
  24. I love posts like this. Completely dismissing everyone else's theories as complete rubbish, despite having no idea yourself what went on or why. How do you know he wasn't relevant to MI6? I imagine a maths geek who is very good at his job is quite valuable in that line of business.
  25. I go up to watch Rangers a few times a season and quite fancy using this an option. Will try and give it a go next season.
