Can’t see the point unless we buy or have the option to buy (personally not convinced by him). If we just took him for a few months on loan all he would do is block the pathway of players like Tella. It’s not as if we need him to save us from relegation or get into Europe

Why would the Director of Football leave Brentford unless the new owners have good ambitions - obviously money may play a part but I would have thought that reputation is important. Also if this guy owns the rights to the Premier League in the Balkans I would suspect he wants to invest to improve the watchability

Fair enough. I was in the part of the itchen that saw more of him in first half than second. Like I said defensively ok (he was better second half) but whenever he came forward Adam Armstrong was making good runs and he couldn’t pick him out once. At risk of repeating myself I lay a significant amount of blame for the penalty incident on him.

Same game as you. Other people that were watching thought the same as me. Also, he played son onside - it was schoolboy defending. I suggest you look at the still and then you might see he was to blame for the situation. I was screaming at him to step up but he was worried about Emerson and stepped back but Emerson was no danger at all. Been poor in nearly every game I’ve seen. He’s ok at defending but poor attacking. not to detract from the performance of the rest of the team. On what basis do you think he played well?

Everyone played well and did their part. Valery and Bednarek were particularly good but Perraud is poor though - bad distribution and crossing

The last three games the team has shown more character, culminating in yesterdays performance. Hopefully they are turning a corner in terms of getting rid of their soft side

McCarthy has lost us points this year. Forster hasn’t made an error and looked more commanding. Decision should be clear, as well as dropping Walcott forever. Need to get a good quality attacking midfielder in Jan. albeit doubt we have money

Well done Ralph. Good first half and nullified them in 2nd half with bringing Lyanco on. Last season he wouldn’t have done that

Team battled really well. Lyanco was a beast at the back. Ralph sets our teams out well but we need some punch up top - if we had some money to spend on 2-3 decent attackers we’d be half decent. Walcott should not be allowed near a football pitch. His contribution so far this year is a penalty miss.

Livramento and Broja both looked excellent. Not convinced by Perraud - KWP deserves to be playing particularly after Chelsea. I would be more effective than Walcott if I was blind folded and sent onto the pitch. Thank goodness Armstrong is back.
