  1. 'kin hell - come on Saints. I know we're nervous - but a win is the only thing that matters.
  2. Strange. It works on the other thread when you click on it. Take a look at the "Saints TV" thread on the forum & try clicking on it. It comes up with Windows Media Player & commentary on the game for me ?!?!
  3. Here's a working link: http://mfile.akamai.com/6095/live/re...asx?bkup=20372
  4. Blimey. We haven't offered anything going forward yet. Early days I know - but...
  5. Good loud support on Solent from the travelling Saints army too...
  6. C'mon Saints. Make my weekend (and therefore life!) happy by winning today!
  7. I suggest we all take a plank of wood each & build our own make-shift bridge. Wotte said he'd help out by taking eleven planks...
  8. lol. Ditto!
  9. Trouble is Chez we don't know what division we'll be playing in next season yet (as you rightfully point out) - and just as importantly - we don't know who the gaffer will be. I don't think Wotte will either want the job or be asked to stay if we go down. If a new boss comes in he'll want his own players, right-hand man, etc. 3 more short weeks & we'll know the answer to many questions!
  10. Some good news regarding Forest anyway! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11727_5185236,00.html
  11. Coventry have only lost 2 CCC games at home since December 1st last year. * He says - hanging on to the slightest glimmer of hope!
  12. As I said yesterday; I fully expected Norwich to beat Watford at home - which they duly did. I also said Barnsley would beat Swansea - but to our good fortune - they didn't & got a good tonking! A real bonus that result. Finally - I didn't expect Forest to get anything at Bramall Lane...but alas - they managed a point. Next weekend's games then: Ipswich v Norwich N Forest v Coventry Reading v Barnsley Sheff Wed v Saints Obviously we're all hoping that Ipswich beat Norwich in the East Anglia derby. Bragging rights & all that. Forest should manage a comfortable win at home to a dismal Coventry. Barnsley have it all to do away at play-off hopefuls Reading. And we have it all to do at hot 'n' cold Sheffield Wednesday. Next weekend is massive. It was anyway - but a win for us up in Sheffield will almost certainly mean we'll be out of the bottom three. We have to win it of course...
  13. Surman LB. Smith wide on the left in front of him. Move Rudi in one - alongside Euell. BWP wide right. DMG & Saga up front to start. Sorted!
  14. It's a Neil Warnock team. Say no more.
  15. Cheers for that Flyer. He did a terrific job at QPR and I know the vast majority of fans there love him. Didn't realise he'd fallen-out with the club for whatever reason. Their loss is Forest's gain I guess.
  16. As we wave goodbye to the Championship (it appears the players already have - so what the hell!) - I was looking at some of the "hotbeds" of football eagerly awaiting us next season in League 1. Brighton (if they stay in L1 of course). Always a good day out The Goldstone Ground was. Haven't been to the Withdean yet. They've got a new stadium planned at Falmer for a couple of years time...but hopefully (no direspect to Brighton of course) - I hope I don't get to see it! Southend Couldn't make the away game last season - but another seaside day out! I'll be taking my bucket & spade! Lots of shellfish to scoff too. Yum yum! Yeovil Lovely place Somerset. Great cider country too. That's a good-enough reason to travel to the West country to see the boys! Bury, Huddersfield, Crewe, Oldham, Hartlepool, Carlisle & Stockport Strange northern places with funny accents & weird foods! Swindon Not far to travel. Should be a good turn-out. Walsall Just about the only Midlands ground in the whole division! Never been there either. Leyton Orient Along with Charlton - the only 2 London clubs in the division we'll be visiting. So - all in all - very...er..."inviting" eh?
  17. I agree with that. I always thought he was pretty useful tbh. Anyone know why QPR let him go on loan? Seems strange that one!
  18. He was indeed. I'm going to ask the missus for a satnav for Christmas this years as I haven't got a bloody clue where half these strange northern places are ffs!
  19. Yep Griffo old mate - such "unknown" northern delights as Oldham, Crewe, Huddersfield, Hartlepool & Carlisle await us! I aim to buy lots of winter woolies come the autumn...
  20. Yep. Away at Coventry Tuesday 21st of this month.
  21. Monday's fixtures: Saints v Palace Norwich v Watford Sheff Utd v Forest Barnsley v Swansea We have to hope that we win against Palace (well what's the point otherwise?) and I expect Norwich to win at home to Watford. I can't see Forest getting anything at Bramall Lane against promotion-chasing Sheffield United. Barnsley to beat Swansea at home too. * Updated btw. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=11151
  22. Updated following Saturday's results. Could have done without that late, late Dexter Blackstock goal for Forest - but that's life I guess.
  23. Didn't we drop from the Premiership along with Norwich? Charlton, Norwich & Southampton (possibly) all going down yet again. Who'd have thought it eh?
