Unsure why that winds you up so much. the Met could give any colour of Warning and Apple do with that what they like. The Weather app in ‌‌iOS 16‌‌ is able to send a notification if there is a severe weather alert issued near you, so you can get a heads-up for major rain storms, floods, hurricanes, heat waves, tornados, and more
