  1. No more interesting than the reason why Money Penny has got herself in to this debate. After all, she IS the MP for Portsmouth North, whilst Mike Gob****e is the MP for Portsmouth South. Forgive me - I didn't do too well at geography GCSE - but I was under the impression that Fratton dump is in the South of the people's republic of Portsmouth. So, why the hell has Miss Money Penny felt the need to open her mouth on this issue? Shouldn't she be more concerned about the schools and hospitals that will be missing out because of the lack of taxes being paid in the South of Portsmouth?
  2. Fortunately this time, that £17m is stated as the amount they paid for the shares - 100% of PFC shares owned by CSI. I guess that means that no matter how much AA inflates this debt - perhaps he's doing so, so that chinny can write it off against tax for his profitable businesses? - it won't mean a thing when compared with HMRCs debt, so even if admin was sought, HMRC would be the major creditor and would have control over what happens next. Unlike last time when they mysteriously ended up with less than 25% of the total debt so couldn't vote against the CVA. Just ask Rupes what happens to the value of the shares when admin is declared
  3. There's that magical, mythical £17m cropping up again! Tell me, how much did Gayboy 'sell' PFC to Chinny for? And how much did Chinny 'win' when he 'sued' Gayboy? Oh, that's right, £17m! Funny how everything to do with Pompey owners always comes back to the same amount of money!
  4. Hehe, I 'tweeted' Rory this afternoon about that very same thing Perhaps it prompted one of his colleagues to look into the matter and find out the score. So, AA was confident of a buyer within 48 hours - six? weeks ago! - and that didn't happen. Then he was confident the empty bank accounts would be unfrozen in 24 hours - that was on Monday! - and that didn't happen! Please, please AA would you state how confident you are that the skates won't get liquidated or relegated
  5. I think you misunderstood the question! The question was : "tell us about this bit of land that pompey own that Tescos is willing to give them £20million for" Nothing in that link says that Fratton dump is worth £20m - quite the opposite in fact, as that article alludes to the council issuing a compulsory purchase order, something that the council has since stated it is not prepared to do as it doesn't have the cash! (probably something to do with missing millions of pounds worth of taxes ) Any other patches of land that PFC own that Tesco's would be willing to shell out £20m for?
  6. If this was a Pompey website, you'd now be b-anned! Luckily, we're far more tolerant on here of our fishy friends Might I make a suggestion for the next time you email one of the leaders of our country? Perhaps you might like to include a proper sentence structure. Maybe even add a few paragraphs. It would make the reading of your prose a lot easier and maybe won't be confined to the 'trash' bin? Just a suggestion though Anyway, welcome aboard this epic tale. Can you confirm that you are also convinced that Pompey 'will be fine' and there's 'nothing to worry about at all, no siree' in the same way as the corpse and PFC123?
  7. Would love to see what she has to say to those points....
  8. I say unfreeze the bank accounts. Let them have their access, which they blame non payment on. After all, Admin Andy has been telling the world since before Xmas that they have a 'cash flow' problem until a new buyer is found. What are the chances that a club that has had a cash flow issue since November is actually going to have anything tucked away in a bank account, let alone 3 or 4 million quid! Having the bank accounts frozen is just giving them another excuse not to pay. If I were HMRC I'd go to the validation hearing and say 'no, your honour, no problem at all in allowing them to have access to their bank accounts, after all, they'll then be able to pay us what we're owed'. Call their bluff and stop giving the DFCSBs excuses! We all know they won't be able to pay, then HMRC will have even more ammunition for the WUP on the 20th - 'we let them have access to their bank accounts and they still couldn't pay the bill, insolvent m'lud'.
  9. Of course they do! They don't own it, so why would the toilets not be in perfect working order? I suspect though, that having the toilets serviced and stocked would be part of their rental agreement. One can only assume that if he who shall not be named is going to Asda to get bog roll, then they haven't paid their rent
  10. Don't worry, Comfy Chair got that one answered for you
  11. They really are inbred retards Half the 'fans' are moaning about HMRC for 'picking on' them by issuing a WUP so soon after they defaulted. then you get morons like Steve the **** asking how HMRC let them build up the debt! The level of understanding - or not - down there is immense!
  12. Not a shame at all Any court that decides the club are trading whilst insolvent and the debt can be claimed from Lumpitt Excellent news indeed as finally one of the dodgy people in charge of the club could get their comeuppance. So, PFC123, still think things are looking rosey and that 'you'll be fine' - or fined
  13. Problem with the points?
  14. You seem to be forgetting.... Bonus = £1m - to be paid by tax payer Tax @ 50% = £500k - to be taken by HMRC NI @ 10% = £100k - to be taken by HMRC Therefore net cost to taxpayer = £400k, puts a bit of perspective on things
  15. Not sure that Chainrai is even an option now. In the past he has leant them money [lol @ ludicrous interest rates], but he has ALWAYS been able to secure his loans against assets [sic]. Two problems with that now, they don't have any assets left to secure against and even if they did a charge cannot be registered over them now the WUP has been issued and the case heard. That means Chinny would have to lend them the money and hope he gets it back one day. He's not stupid, so that isn't going to happen, which would explain why AA has gone on record stating he won't be helping out! So that just leaves : 1. Wealthy lunatic that's got money to throw away - haven't seen many of them! 2. WUP becomes WUO = toast. 3. FL advance them more money to pay off HMRC, which will leave them short of cash in a week / month or two = toast.
  16. Just a thought, but didn't the 'Arry trial get put back a couple of times? Anyone willing to bet the Spuds chairman had a hand in that to make sure 'Arry was otherwise engaged during the transfer window, to protect his bank balance?
  17. Because it's around £160k 'invested' in Monaco isn't it? Therefore someone who earnt £1.5m like 'Arry did at Pompey will be paying the higher rate plus NI on top, so it's closer to £80k than £30k. Greed, pure and simple.
  18. A 'F**k you and F**K this F**k*ng forum' comment would fit in nicely here - Sorry Panny, couldn't resist
  19. Or..... The defence is pretty poor, and will last about half an hour! There's only so many times you can say "'e din't do it guv"
  20. I suspect the £20m will now be needed by Tesco to pay Gaydy the ransom for all the land surrounding FP - since he owns it and you don't! If there's £3m or so left over, I guess they'll have to give that to Chinny to buy FP itself, as again, that isn't an asset that PFC own. Please feel free to enlighten us about this expose that the tabloids are going to run as I can't see any sign of it anywhere. I even had a look on POL and could find no reference to it there - you do keep telling us that the good folk on POL ALWAYS find stuff before us don't you, so you'd expect to see it there at the very least. Go ahead and let us know exactly what it is, it could be your fist ever 'scoop'. As for the players, I'm sure they're all happy to sit on the highly inflated wages you pay them and bleed the club dry, knowing that if you default on their wages and the club goes pop, then the PFA will pay them the money owed - I guess the PFA would just apply to the PL for the parachute payments that you won't get! After that they become free agents, where they will probably get a new contract on lower wages, but will be able to negotiate a much better signing on fee because of it. Win, win, win for them, so why would they go elsewhere?
  21. To be fair, it's a good thing that they've paid their tax bill [allegedly]. After all, that pays for schools, hospitals etc. What it also means - if true - is that there is no sign of a buyer, as there is no way chinny would cough up the cash if there were someone waiting in the wings So, just the £1.6m wage bill to fund at the end of this month, then another £800k NI and PAYE a few days after that It's all looking rosie again for the skates
  22. Would that be the same person as 'PompeyScott' from pompeyonline? Surely having the LEAST tolerant person in the world will only be a benefit and bring lots of positives to their club! If you don't know what I'm on about just try registering on pompey online using your current user name and see just how quickly you get b-anned! Say what you want about steve and Boj, but at least they are tolerant of the phew that register here and allow them to put their opinions across whether they are popular ones, deluded or downright wacky - Mak usually posts those to be fair! - not like that on POL!
  23. My prediction : The DCFSBs will avoid the WUP - I reckon the FL will advance them the parachute payments. Everything will be rosie until April when the first [sic] CVA payment is due. Don't worry about that, AA will just change the timescales again and they won't have to pay any money for another 12 months - and he still won't have broken any rules as the numpties agreed to it in the first place! They'll then have some more 'sticky' patches over the summer when wages are due, but the FL will give them the remainder of the parachute payments - they'll then spunk the lot on more players and high wages. It'll get interesting around this time next year when they have no parachute payments left to spend, and the wages will be due for payment - forget about the CVA as it's irrelevant. AA will just keep moving those goalposts until the eventually don't pay it in about 5 years time, and get hit with a paltry -10 points. I'm sure they'll happily swap five years and £17m for -10 points! Sadly, much as I'd love them to be toast, the FL rules and regs are so crap that AA can find away round them each and every time - he's probably already working on the reasons why they should receive the final parachute payment next summer!! It makes a mockery of football and clubs trying to do things 'the right way', but I think more and more clubs will start to push the boundaries because they've seen how the rules can be massaged to avoid any sort of penalty from the FL. Eventually the FL will tighten things up, but not before they've been mugged off by a number of clubs!
  24. Perhaps the Corpse should read that. It might help quell his myth about credit crunch and bank shares or whatever it is he's blaming for the gun runner running out of money.
  25. Even more telling from the same piece : So, clumpitt, how is that management between you and HMRC coming along? Looks to me like they're ignoring every plea you're making to them and going ahead with what they believe is right and just. Apparently an old dog can learn new tricks, as didn't they wait until you owed them £30 something million last time before they started the process? Looks like they're not falling for the same old spin and b0IIocks this time
