If I honestly thought people like GG would change, I would agree with you. Unfortunately I think saintwarwick is right. If something is wrong with the chemical / psychological balance of such people perhaps we are better off dealing with them, so that this chemical imbalance - and I assume you are alluding towards genetics here - is not allowed to continue... My next lens purchase is going to be a big one..... Big in terms of length and cost!! I am currently considering the Canon 100-400 IS L at a whopping £850. However I'm also thinking of the Bigma 50-500 at about £650. Frankly for the photography I'm interested in, size is important - well length really.... I've read numerous reports on both lenses, and am swaying towards the Canon because it is 'L' series, and the Bigma seems to be less sharp over 300mm. Anyone got any recommendations, or experience of the above, or even recommend a different lens that I've not yet considered?

If you have breakdown cover, why not call them out - claim you can't get the car going at all. No doubt they will diagnose the problem for you, and probably recommend the best place to go to get it fixed - if they can't do it for you for nothing
