Better option than Ely to be honest. Hopefully he doesn't get a new deal though
-
Ah fuck. Hatrick beckons
-
My lad is desperate to get to an away game, as it stands it's not going to be possible. Like you, circumstances prevent me from getting a season ticket. I get the fact that season ticket holders will also come first at any club, but I still go to St Mary's as much as I can, I just feel taking up maximum allocations will allow more people like me to go away.
-
Hmmm! Went to both of those schools too. Left WP in 1990.
-
Am not a season ticket holder so without a general sale am pretty much unable to go to away games. If the club took up more of an allocation it would allow me and probably others to at least have an opportunity of getting to a few away games each season.

Know it will. Had a few mates that lived there. Grainger Gardens for me, just off Valentine Avenue and Orpen Road.
-
Sholing too. Top or bottom end?

Can't help feeling Potter would be on a hiding to nothing there. I know it shouldn't be the case, but I wonder if he has the clout behind him to walk into that Chelsea dressing room and try to get those players onside. Tough job to turn down though if they approach him.

Possibly why DCC has been brought in already? Pure speculation, but the noises coming from his camp might reflect not be positive for an extenstion

Tielemans looked really pissed off with Rodgers when he got subbed off
-
United players surrounding the ref again. What a surprise, bet this gets overturned.
-
I guess if England fuck up at many more tournaments, there could be an opening there.
-
How the fuck is that Martinez tackle not a yellow??
-
More importantly, what songs are going to be played over the PA system? Maybe we should gave a seperate thread for discussion!
-
I don't have any sympathy for them whatsoever. As you say, the fans have an enormous sense of entitlement. The less said about Rodgers the better.
-
Trouble is, he probably won't get the time at a big 6 club to build up what he has done with Brighton. Unbelievable that some of their fans wanted Potter gone previously.
-
I wonder when Potter is going to be picked up by a bigger club?
-
I think this is a game we need to win. On paper, possibly the first game this season that you would reasonably expect us to win. I know football, and especially with us, it doesn't always work out like this. However, we really do need to start on the front foot and stamp authority on this one.
-
Just watching the Reading v Stoke game. Young Delap subbed off after 70 odd minutes. Fairly ineffectual performance all told.
-
We need to play fast and tricky players, draw fouls in and around the penalty area. JWP's free kicks and penalties might be important this season.
-
Until we address the striker situation in January, this could be a common place occurence.
-
First win in 13 for those. Against us. What a surprise
-
Saints, the gift that just keeps on giving.

Just a different view I guess. To my mind he doesn't need to say that he thinks Villa is a bigger club and he needs to play for a bigger club. I just think it's disrespectful as he is still under contract with us. I get that he probably won't ever play for us again, but rubbishing your employer when you still have a contract with them isn't particularly bright. Am not saying it's right that we as fans get on players backs etc, but when you say things like this, and do some of the other things that Beds has done over the last six months, it just sours the relationship even more.

I just find it annoying when you have a model pro like Oriel who has conducted himself brilliantly throughout his Saints career, saying a goodbye how it should be. I've always liked Bednerek, thought that some of the shit he got on here hasn't always been justified. Just leaves a bit of a sour taste when basically you are rubbishing your parent club.
