  1. I actually don't mind both AB and JT. Certainly Tessem isn't backward in saying his views on the club or in match commentary. If you want co-commentators that just wank over their clubs for an entire game try listening to Guy Whittingham or whoever is doing the Bournemouth game.
  2. Time to draw a line underneath all of this now. We know what direction the club are seeking to go, they obviously see a future with Tonda still at the wheel. Am still 50/50 as to whether he should go, my main fear is that the players will have lost all respect for him. However, I guess the club have sounded at the squad and decided that it's better to stick than twist. Obviously the cost of not gaining promotion is going to cost us a couple of outs, but if this is tempered by some astute signings and the majority of the squad staying it should stand us in decent stead. I would make signing Peretz an absolute priority if a deal can be done and he is willing to come back.
  3. I fully understand what you are saying, but someone somewhere would have raised a flag regarding this at some point. I just don't believe this is systematic across the leagues in the UK.
  4. The club statement is hardly anything to really bother about either.
  5. Nah, not buying that. If Millwall had been looking at Charlton's training sessions you think mad Nate would let that go?
  6. Agree with that. It would have come out a lot sooner if this was rife in the game. We got caught doing something pathetically stupid, although its been handled it a shit way, the fact is we broke the rules.
  7. Ok. We are going to have to agree to disagree. Neither of us have any proof either way.
  8. If everyone is at it, am sure more teams would have got caught out way before we did.
  9. How can it be worth the gain when we got kicked out of the play off final? We didn't need to spy on teams, we should have been confident enough in our own abilities to beat these teams. And this wasn't in his power to do, he cheated and broke the rules.
  10. We got caught, doesn't matter how, we did it. The punishment far outweighed the crime though. But I would rather see him gone in all honesty. He is one of a number of people that aren't fit to represent this club anymore.
  11. Probably signed off by one of those firms who always bug you asking if you've been involved in an accident in the past 5 years.
  12. I was kind of faltering into him staying after my initial anger subsided about the play off. Although after reading that, I really don't see a situation where he comes out of this still with a job.
  13. Did they ask Rishi Sunak to write that statement? True Polictian's reply.
  14. Am in New York a week after the final, so am lucky am missing most of it. Although it would have been fun to see what the atmosphere would have been like.
  15. Guess the truth will all be revealed in the coming weeks
  16. Judging by the posts from Scienza and Pertez not sure they knew too much about what was going on. I agree that the punishment was harsh but the fallout from this is going to rumble on
  17. Let's also not forget that Bielsa was adored by the media too. It was even laughed off to a degree
  18. Wasn't that what formed the basis of the EFL allegations? That staff felt bullied and pressured into spying?
  19. I believe that when I see it to be honest. Obviously we aren't privy to the behind the scenes stuff, but I'll be amazed if the players are OK with the situation
  20. Not sure you can really compare the two to be fair. Eckert is the manager and leader of the team, if it turns out he was sanctioning the spying then I really don’t see how he can stay. Especially if it also is proved that he was systematically bullying people to be involved.
  21. You are presuming he will still be here?
  22. Surely if the financials involved are true and Eckert effectively cost us promotion, why would the club want to keep him if it results in the club having to sell the crown jewels
  23. I'd rather we lose Charles than Jander to be honest. Although like most here fear the both will be off.
  24. Couple of Boro fans in the pub earlier watching the game. Really wished I had stayed now to wish them luck for next season
  25. All but accepted it now. Anger subsided, although I'm sure that will resurface come kick off. Most of all I'm disappointed for my son, he was really looking forward to the day after getting his first taste of Wembley last month. Biggest emotion is still feeling let down by the club that I've supported for 40+years.
