Middlesbrough 4-0 Saints - Match Thread

Middlesboro lose a manager, Norwiuch sack a manager. What do they do? Hire someone with experience and a decent track record. What do we do? Hire an under 21 coach with fuck all experience because those cunts that represent my club on the pitch love him because they get ab easy ride from him. I fuckin hate what SR have done to my club. -

Only with like for like subs -
I'm not privvy to the reasons why, theories and guesses are the only thing we can comment on. Could be a hundred different reasons why SR think this is a good idea. Might just simply be that SR see that with all clubs playing the same way and system inter club trading with managers and players becames easier. Maybe thats the ultimate goal.

Yep, makes sense
-
Oh, thought it was uniformally January 1st
-
Bree playing for Charlton today, guess his loan got extended?
-
In a nutshell, yes. The evidence for it is overwhelming. As SClarke mentioned, all three clubs playing the same way, all the youth teams playing the same way. Nobody managers appointed over more vastly experienced candidates. Your prerogative if you ignore those facts but it seems pretty clear to me that the club is being run in line with SR dogshit philosophy.

No excuse to play at strong starting 11 in this one. Rest the first team for the cup game next weekend. Not something I like to do, but we need to win this to get back on track. -
And we have a manager who has no idea how to counter this. One way of playing and that's it.
-
All part of a plan to get Llanana in as manager next season.
-
Not entirely convinced with Matuski. Possibly a bit lightweight especially against a physical side like Millwall. Same with Bragg, not sure this was the right game for a completely new midfield.
-
I feel having that extra body to deal with crosses is our biggest issue. One of the three will quite often leave it for one of the other two to deal with, which more often than not means it doesn't get dealt with. Even with a three we still seem to be experts at marking space when a ball comes in. There is a massive issue with them taking any sort of responsibilty for marking. Maybe a two would ensure a little more responsibilty in marking, but then again I doubt it.
-
That sheer volume of possession amounted to countless sideways and backward passes between the centre backs and keeper mostly.
-
One for Christophe or Fred to answer there then. Possibly three teams playing the same system..........The SR way.
-
I can't be arsed to look, but do the French and Turkish lads play the same system as we do?
-
We zonal mark don't we? Maybe if we tried man marking at set pieces it might help. At least with man marking there is a degree of responsibility.
-
Yet he drags him off after 55/60 minutes most games. So, in fact he's not regularly playing a full 90 minutes. Is that pretending?
-
So, you agree we are pretty shit then?
-
Did Blackmore or House press Eckert into why Leo didn't start?
-
In terms of performance, yes it was pretty bad. Again.
-
Jelert offered more of an attacking threat than the entire team
-
Brainless foul
-
Exactly. What was the point in sacking him if you are going to replace him with the same.
