Not really. Adkins was very likeable. Jones isn't. At least under Adkins we played as a team and looked like a cohesive unit. Performances under Jones look disjointed with no pattern. Everyone was on the bus with Nigel. He was a limited manager, but no way would he come up with the shit that Jones spouts, particularly about the fans.

Don't think many would argue that a change was needed. Only trouble is we downgraded giving Jones the job.

I fully believe a more competent and able manager would get as out of this shit. Yes, the players are limited, but with a decent game plan and a more cohesive pattern to our play, we would be ok.

I don't have a problem with him thinking or saying the players are good enough. What annoys me is how the spin from the club is that we are "confident" of getting someone in. Like in the summer Ralph was "confident" of getting someone in. We all knew this should have been sorted out at the beginning of the window, but here we are at the end of the window, still trying to look for the cheapest deals possible.
