  1. On the coverage I saw all the pundits agreed there were five penalties in the game. Then they called in a female "rules expert" probably a highly qualified referee, she agreed that it should have been 3-2 SFC on penalties. Described the referee as having a bad day at the office, rating him 2 out of 10.
  2. Oh yes he looked mustard, he even recreated a memorable moment from his brief pro career.
  3. Also he is playing himself into the world cup, before he joined Saints his chances looked remote. Now the first choice for Canada is crocked. Can any player have any more motivation that?
  4. Man City 1-0 vs Everton. Think maybe Doku watched the Azaz goal in the semi, thought I can do that, and has been practicing it since? That first goal was almost a carbon copy a little more directly in front of the goal but very similar.
  5. You will never guess, but here is what the statistics show, and it is not even close. Have to go back and watch those games, seen so many where he wasn't nearly so effective. Southampton vs. Manchester United Historical Head-to-Head | FBref.com https://share.google/SLF7Ha9eByXAsNLHL

    Tonda Eckert

    No kidding!
  7. Ireland really riding their luck omitting Russel Martin's favorite keeper. What are they thinking?
  8. He is not walking alone, TAA the biggest omission in that same position. Personally would take Bree before TAA anyway.
  9. Every player has a price that the club will sell at, at his age it might also be his last chance at the top level on a good contract. My feeling is if Saints get promoted he will stay, if not probably (sadly) best for both sides to accept a good offer.
  10. Agreed, strange indeed, had a lot of the right attributes but looked like he couldn't be arsed in most games. Maybe should have had more tonic with his lemonade?
  11. Yes I did see that but assumed it was some other player called Lemina, not the one who played for Saints. Getting into the box and scoring was not his forte at Saints if I recall correctly.
  12. Yes that is what I meant, not the same player as he was when he was younger and had that extra yard.
  13. Saints in Champions League 03/10/26. Kevin Danso - Ralph was right, now we know why he would not pick him. Sulemano - Still fast, still no end product. Livramento - Good to see him back, needs to press on to get a WC spot. VVD - How the mighty have fallen. Did I miss anyone?
  14. Watched WBA vs Middlesbrough, a good game with a 90 th minute winner. But the first goal for Middlesbrough was a Charlie Taylor own goal, and it was a classic, rebound off the post that he cleared into his own net.
  15. Couldn't tell if it was bad or not, just couldn't figure out where the defenders were? Was it just me?
