Tactic 1: High risk, high press that geives us a spell of lovely football, before it's found out and we're lucky to escape with only a few thumpings. Tactic 2: A deeper option, looking to catch teams, not on any planned break (because we can't do taht well), but off of scraps. Two outcomes 1) we aren't good enough to keep teams out, concede and are toothless at getting back into the game, when they defend 2) We do nick a goal. But then fall back and option 1 kicks in. Both outcomes lead to abject performances. Today, dreadful double personal error for the first, zero concentration and marking for the third and fourth. That's a team with their confidence shot.

Crumbs....

Whew! For a split second Long had the otion of driving at goal. Thankfully, he checked himself and went wide, resulting in another decent Leicester attack. Redmond had a similar option from deeper in the first half, and checked himself to go wide. RalphBall at work.

bah...didn;t score anyway...
-
JWP not going to score. Commentator said that he put the ball down in a tent...oh wait, with intent... 🙂
-
Long earns a free kick in JWP territory!
-
Yes! Long's on and that means goals! COYR!
-
bloomin' 'eck. Totally unmarked. So slow and lazy to the danger.
-
Yay! We get one of those... goal things, I've been hearing about!

well, sod...

Hey, Djenepo gets more of a run out than recently. Let's see if he can be a bit more direct.
-
oh, thanks Moss. Don;t blow up allowing Leicester to have their chance. But when Redmond is getting forward...Clown.
-
That, from lots of angles, will taking up a fair chunk of our highlights video from recent weeks. 🙂
-
Yup. Only when he goes down a couple of minutes later, do they take him off. Imagine he had been in another challenge in between. No consideration for his safety there.
-
A. Armstrong carrying on, with his head underneath his arm. Good to see those concussion protocols are working. 🙂
-
well, we're going to have to ... >gasp< attack to have a chance of getting back into this one.
-
two goes to head it properly/ clear it...but no, not us...
-
ah pants...

Not really set up to attack, so much as contain them further up the pitch, and rely on Redmond/ AA trickery to create. Leicester have been far more likely, with Vary having a couple of near chances (one thanks to McCarthy) and a header early on. Still hope we can nick it in the second half.

Everyone falling over seems to be cheering him up.
-
McCarthy... nearly gave that away...
-
lots of space there. We've had some positive moments , if not chances.
-
A bit of width from Redmond and KWP, drawing out ther defence to give AA some space. Solid midfield to not get overrun, and offer through balls for AA to run onto? Blind optimism? 🙂
-
Yups. It's certainly worrying, wondering where the goals are coming from.

Keep. As it stands, it's him, Adams and Nlundulu for next season. He offers something different to the other 2. And because of this. That said, if the club uncover a treasure chest, can replace Broja, then our 10s and elsewhere, and still have pennies for an obvious upgrade, by cashing in, then go for it.
