Surprised we didnlt take off all 11 for Valery. 🙂 Waiting until 4 down seems a bit of damage control, rahter than being aware that we've been defiensivly overrun since the first whistle.

Every pass just cuts right through the defence, who can't cope at all with players running anywhere towards them.

Jeez. That was another catalogue of errors.

I'd read the article saying it was all deliberate. But I still wondered if we'd still be better off trying to actually score from them, but be more aware of possible counters.

The four upcoming Armstrong goals are going ot be all the sweeter after this opening spell. 🙂

I didn't get past him revealing he cheated in his autobiography for a bet. I couldn't really believe that it was a one off, if not with him, then elsewhere in the team. I'd like to think that at least the players putting on the shirt will be trying their best for the club every game. That was undermined. So, he's showed deficient judgement in the past, well before this. It won't be long before he's on the circuit talking about how he was haunted for years by bright lights in the night sky. He'll be told it was floodlights from night matches, but will be convinced of alien abductions.

Oxford playing Ipswich and ourselves in quick succession could be a plus too. Hopefully taking something off of them, but not being quite 100% when facing us.
