Can somebody tell me why "the FA is almost guaranteed to ban him"? The FA oversees all competitions, including the Premier League, where scouting/spying on the opposition isn't even a breach of their rules. How can the FA ban an EFL manager for spying when there would be absolutely no question of them banning a PL manager who did exactly the same as Tonda?

I was on the old East Terrace at Charlton in 1976, not to watch football but to see The Who, supported by the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Absolutely massive high terrace (built on a hillside) all the way along the side of the pitch, absolutely packed out in the sun, and the perfect viewing platform to see the stage on the opposite side of the ground.

What on earth would be the point of RM managing us in the Championship next season? Even if (by some miracle) he were to get us promoted again, would we really want him to try to manage us in the PL again? Most of the fanbase would spend the Championship season dreading the prospect of another promotion with RM and another clusterfuck in the PL.

Surprised Mike Riley hasn't got a mention yet. I remember in 2009(?) Poortvliet's young Saints taking on ManU at SMS in a cup match. Riley sent off our CF Matt Pattinson when he tried to block Vidic's clearance and Vidic followed through and kicked the underside of his boot. Then Riley gave ManU a penalty for handball when McGoldrick (in a defensive wall) turned bis back and the shot hit him on the top of his shoulder. Such had been Riley's clear bias that I understand the TV commentators said they were surprised that Riley didn't take the penalty himself!
