Agreed. See a lot of this but there is literally zero evidence of any form of quality coaching. Every time he puts 11 players on the pitch it looks like random blokes they’ve gotten together for a kick about.

It’s utterly bizarre that we spent most of our budget on those two because Still claimed he wanted to play 4-2-3-1 only to try it once and then play 3-5-2 incessantly afterwards.

I think this lets the board off too lightly. We might be missing a striker but of course there is a manager that could get this squad into the playoffs. There are managers who would kill for some of the players we’ve got.

Nothing to do with the manager? He said publicly he wanted players to play a 4-2-3-1, the board duly signed those players and yet, after one bad performance at Hull, is dead set on sticking with a formation that can’t fit the players we spent most of our budget on. Will Still has no idea how or who he wants to play, he is just throwing shit at a wall and hoping some of it sticks. He is out of his depth.

Let’s be honest, who cares? Feels like this season has already passed us by. We won’t even sniff the play offs without a striker.

Everyone knew it was a massive issue but the Club was messaging from extremely early on that they (including Still) were “comfortable” with the options we have. Every single year of their ownership SR have left us short up front. Every single year.
