To an extent St George is correct and cutting costs is obviously Max's point. If Honda have gone then others can follow. Then Ferrari etc will have to toe the line and make the sport more competitive. Unless they want a grid of 10 cars. Is Honda a surprise to you Ponty?

So St George, do you really think the BNP has the infrastructure to carry through all those things or will they revert to type?

I'd imagine that Ford UK/Europe is profitable based on market share? Maybe Ford US would just spin it off as a going concern to another buyer or MBO.

If the gate is split 45/45/10 to Saints/Man U/FA then even if the ground is full at 32,000 (assuming corners were opened) we would gain no more than we would for a league fixture with a 15,000 crowd. TV might add a few more quid but I'm afraid this is just like the money from one extra league home game after extra costs have been taken into account.
