I'm the grand scheme of things it's still a result that's helped us. Now Millwall and Ipswich will be looking at each other. 12 days ago we weren't even in the playoffs.

It was only a week and a half ago we overtook Wrexham to get into the playoff places. Now, we're a point behind 2nd

Well, we got in this position via an improbable series of results. We just need that improbable series to continue.

Middlesbrough keep trying to take too many touches at both ends. Ipswich are just brutally direct when they get the ball but patchy. Tough one to call.

Boro look like they're going to gift a goal any minute.

Or we win 6-0 and rub out Ipswich's goal difference advantage.

We're all waiting for when the dream comes off the rails. This is Saints after all. And, yet I feel the expectation that we're going to come back with 3 points. The squad is working well, there are goals everywhere and we're hard to score against. The biggest worry is Swansea sucker us into a game of 2-sided Russball. 4-1 to Saints.

Last night Larin was excellent. Not just his all hold up play and goal but his work rate was something else. That tackle he made on their winger was timed to perfection. Then busting a gut to get up the other end to get on the end of a cross for his goal and make the chance for Matsuki. He wasn't fully fit when he arrived but he's clearly worked on his fitness and having a number 9 that can last 90 minutes gives us yet another option.

The best part was how happy everyone in the team was for Archer to score. The team spirit is something else at the moment.
