  1. That should've been at least a yellow.
  2. He should put together a powerpoint for the club hierarchy.
  3. Which would be great if the word didn't come from the French word "manege" https://www.etymonline.com/word/manage
  4. There should be two league tables. One for playing football. The other about talking about football. Rosenior and Martin would be contesting the Champions League of talking a good game every year.

    Daniel Peretz

Agreed. Even if Ramsdale comes back he doesn't get in the side ahead of Peretz. McCarthy's contract is up so I don't see how there would be a problem getting him in on that basis alone. If we don't try to take up our option we'd be absolutely insane. Whether Peretz wants to stay is another matter. If he does stay he has to be our number 1. At least Ramsdale is getting a run in the Newcastle team this season so hopefully they'll convert that to permanent this summer.
  6. That's less concerning then.
  7. That sounds serious then. Usually you wait until inflammation goes down before doing a scan. If you have to wait over a week then it's likely to be some kind of tear/rupture. When I ruptured my achilles I had to wait at least a week for my scan as there was no point scanning it straight away.
  8. Much as I'd love to see it I still think that Edozie is behind Fellows and Matsuki in Tonda's pecking order.
  9. Awesome. Let the abuse of Lampard commence. Not giving it so large today are you, pal?
  10. Oh. My. Word. We're definitely living on on the edge here.
  11. Well fought by Archer there. Every throw in won is a good thing
  12. Peretz got _really_ close to that. Great penalty though.
  13. I'm watching it because Lampard's reaction at full time could be pure cinema.
  14. GOL-A-ZZZZZZZZZO!
  15. He should be around. His team don't play until Monday.
  16. This is night and day different to our last meeting at home (when Coventry still had 11 on the pitch).
  17. There's still a lot of football to be played. We've still got as good a shout as any for a playoff spot. The worry is that teams will look at the Charlton and WBA games and change their tactics. Before, you just needed to press us near our goal. Now you just need to sit back and hit us on the break. This is a good chance for Eckert to show he's able to adapt again. Though my fear is it requires us being able to step up our intensity in games. Something we've really struggled with for the last several years.
  18. It still feels like Eckert doesn't rate him enough to start him. This smacks of the back five intransigence all over again. We've got Scienza injured, Fellows out of form and confidence and Matsuki pretty anonymous last night. Edozie should be getting more than a cameo.
  19. It's more the lack of enthusiasm for anyone Sport Republic is likely to replace him with. He hasn't turned my opinion (yet) but he's done some positive things like adapting when stuff obviously wasn't working. Then again he was slow to adapt to what everyone else could see. His next challenge with be teams like Charlton who come to park the bus and how our increasingly passive possession game against them falters. If (and it's a big if) he continues learning and adapting he'll be one of the good ones.
  20. If it's a split tendon he's not playing any time soon or at anywhere near his full potential. If he goes back to playing with it split he's risking a full rupture. The Wrexham boss said they'd know more in a couple of weeks as the injury has to settle down first but healing is in the order of 6-12 weeks minimum.
  21. The best time to play Arsenal is always the tail end of the season. When their hopes and dreams fade from the confidence of how this time is going to be different to a slightly less Tottenham version of Tottenham.
  22. Don't jinx it now
  23. Rather this match than the FA Cup final.
  24. There's some kind of data problem here.
