Your point is kind of stupid and irrelevant, considering many other ethnic groups in the UK are more than willing to divide themselves into tribes: Debating the minutiae of the Anglo-Saxon ethnic group seems pointless when other ethnic groups have proven they are willing to segregate and promote themselves over the rest. But even more than that, as I said previously, the idea that a group that has been defined since the 9th or 10th century, over 1000 years, is somehow “a tiny span” is completely preposterous. 927AD is not a short time ago. That’s mostly down to propaganda though, in my view. People should be proud of their heritage. Being English is something to be immensely proud of, we have done a lot of good in the world. Everyone should be treated equally, regardless of ethnicity and background. Doesn’t mean their background should be dismissed. Edit: also they are denying the English national identity. Or at least - denying us our right to be proud of it.

Id go even further. To deny that someone’s ethnicity no longer exists is genocidal language. If an ethnicity that has existed for more than 1000 years isn’t a real ethnicity, then none are. Meaning the Holocaust was just a group of Germans attacking other Germans. I bet these same people defend the rights of Palestinians, or the rights of Maori’s to have a homeland in New Zealand. Yet English people are denied a homeland? (The English have been in England longer than the Māoris have been in New Zealand btw)

Having better control of our justice & political system doesn’t mean we are pulling up the drawbridge. It leads to a stronger, better Britain which is more useful as an ally to those we care about. Anyway, Brexit is really boring, can we go back to arguing about how terrible Labour are please 🙏

lol. Right on cue I just saw this: I believe that most political institutions across Europe no longer work for the people, and only serve corrupt elites and bureaucrats at the top. (In much the same way that Britain has been sold out) Sovereignty to me means putting as much control in the hands of our own elected officials as possible. To be clear, I don’t necessarily trust them to get things right, but I’d stilll rather have our own politicians in complete control with as little foreign interference as possible. The more decentralised the power structures, the better for the average citizen, in my opinion.

Key thing is sovereignty. EU has shown they’re a toxic, bloated, corrupt, expensive, disgusting organisation. I’m now more than happy to accept short term economic pain for longer term gain of re-establishing our nation without foreign influence. Some things are more important than money. Our nation, culture and identity is more than an homogenous economic zone. (And so are all the other European nations.) Every single European nation deserves better governance and independence from Brussels bureaucracy. I know quite a lot of people that feel the same way.

I said above, I valued economic stability and I didn’t trust the inept political class to actually make a success of it. I was also quite naive at the time; I didn’t realise just how corrupt and evil the EU/globalists are. But they’ve shown their hand in recent years. I want nothing to do with those evil Marxists now.

🤣. I valued economic stability, and I assumed that even if we left, instead of flourishing into Britain 2.0, our useless political class would waste the advantages and end up in a kind of purgatory. Pretty much what has happened tbh. I personally think Brexit was a good idea, but we don’t have the calibre of politicians to make it a success. (Or the electorate, as previously discussed).

Brexit is old news and done and dusted, I cannot understand why people keep harping on about it. But off the top of my head the positives are: - Sovereignty - Saved billions in fees - Trade freedom - Lower VAT and tarriffs - Regained control of territorial waters - Removed three crop rule for farmers - Regained free speech (eg opting out of EU digital services act) Of course, it’s been undermined at every turn, so it hasn’t been as successful as it could have been. But directionally it was the correct decision. Decentralisation of authority will lead to better outcomes than dictates from unelected socialists in Brussels.

No, you’ve said that. I’ve said that Britain is now unattractive to wealthy people, regardless of their status. My argument is that taxes are too high. Plain and simple. And your suggestions are really bad. “More taxes” clearly isn’t the answer. We are at the point where more tax rises will actually reduce overall tax revenue for the government because people are leaving at a faster and faster rate. Re-joining the EU (a sinking ship) won’t help either. Why do people still have a hard-on for that nonsense?
