Simply not true. Blackburn were the better side. Arma missed a couple of chances but they also did
-
This game is genuinely a higher quality than the weekend. Wondering if the u21’s beat the first team in training
-
Yep, not disagreeing with that. The question is what to do about it… For me, he’d have been gone after the Blackburn debacle. But I do understand why they want to give it more time. I’m glad I’m not making the decision, tbh.

100%. Championship is poor again this season. Some of the opposition has been fucking dire. They just set up to make themselves solid and hard to beat, then catch us on the break with ease. Put just Scienza in a few of these teams and they instantly trouble the play offs. It’s spectacular mismanagement from everyone at the club to have us in 20th. We can’t even do the absolute basics of football anymore.
-
Not buying this at all. Go through Blackburn’s team; or Hull or any other side that’s schooled us and tell me how many players you’d swap. Almost every team we play has worse players than us in almost every team in this league. Our players aren’t PL quality but they’re good enough to be above 20th in the fucking league. Our keepers and strikers are very poor, but a good manager could set us up to be a lot harder to beat. It’s management & mindset.

Anyone know when the press conference is this week? Excited to hear what excuses he cooks up for the embarrassment at the weekend
-
Sports Republic tried to sack Will Still, but even fucked that up and sacked the media team by accident
-
Can’t believe people are putting Downs in the starting line up. Absolutely not for me. The above xi makes sense to me. Hate arma at 9, but we have no choice and hopefully Azaz can thread him some chances to miss
-
Sorry, this post uses the ‘Begging the question’ fallacy. The post assumes the conclusion (Saints were used as a stepping stone and compensated to sanction the move) without providing evidence, then demands proof for those assumptions.
-
Perfect, get him in

That argument about players messing it up worked before this weekend, imo. But we were just schooled by the worst team in the league. They haven’t won a home game in months, yet they probably should have won by more. For me that says we have even bigger issues than just players missing chances. Personally I honestly really, really don’t want to change manager again, as I’m sick of it and we are starting to look ridiculous. However, that is literally the only reason I can think of to keep him currently. Everything else about his tenure so far is a disaster.
-
Of course it’s not just his fault. Players have let him down in a massive way. But he is directly responsible for: - Obsession with 3 at the back leaving the midfield wide open - Didn’t take any central midfielders even though we knew they were all ill - Took off our best player when we needed a goal - Threw players on in random positions Yesterday wasn’t just bad, it was a complete and utter shambles. It looked like he’s completely lost the players at the end. The last 10-15 minutes was total capitulation. Do you honestly think he can turn it around?
-
Just thinking more on this after tonight’s TSP. I do feel a bit sorry for him. He has spent a fortune on the club, you can’t knock that. It’s just been spent so, so badly.
-
Not enough centre backs for Will Still’s liking
-
Astonishing he’s still here, really. Wonder how much we’ll have to pay to get rid of him. Maybe we are stuck with him
-
Our continued reliance on this guy is remarkable really. Awful player in his own position.. to bring him on at CM is just stupid beyond words. Glad the fans booed the decision.
-
He has obviously lost the dressing room. In fact, he never found it to begin with.
-
Yeah Blackmore & Tessem were scathing by their standards. And rightly so. Yesterday has to be a turning point and a line in the sand. It was completely unacceptable
-
Strikers that can’t score Goalkeepers that can’t make a save A manager that can’t manage A recruitment team that can’t recruit. The only way we go from here is down the table
-
Was thinking the same. Absolute shambles from the top down. Tessem & Blackmore were urging patience on the radio, saying Still needs until the international break. But I disagree. I don’t think we can even wait until the next international break, I think he has to go now. We need an experienced championship manager in to stop the rot. His tenure has been a complete catastrophe and we are in free fall until he goes.

Dragan, I have a bridge to sell you. £40mil and £100k a week and it’s yours

Carrick way better option. Did ok at Boro, Plus he’s a former CM so he’ll be able to help sort the non existent midfield out. Much better experience than Football Manager like this fraud. For those that voted keep; why? Genuinely struggling to see any positives at all
