Exactly, our big problem is scoring goals. We finally have a finisher. Why not actually give him a go and change the team to see if it works. Instead we are persisting with proven failed players, in a proven failed system. I accept we wanted willing runners against City, but if we don’t play a more attacking line up against Palace I will be annoyed at Selles personally.

Should be winnable. But we have a novice manager and rubbish players, so I predict an easy palace win.

Lavia is at his best when breaking up play, getting on the ball, turning and having the game in front of him. I wouldnt think moving him forward would add to us or him. He’s one of the only positions in the team that doesn’t need changing. Our problem is everyone else, not him.. he just needs help. It’s difficult for me to understand why successive managers haven’t played our best players in their best positions, and I don’t want to see more of it

No point in this game. We will get absolutely spanked. But if we don’t play Lavia, Alcaraz and JWP every single minute we possibly can, I want selles gone too. Clueless management this weekend. Caceres wasn’t match fit because he never got given a chance here. It was truly fucking mental. He was decent after he left us as well. Quality player that was absolutely wasted.

Diallo is bad but nowhere near as much of a problem as Ely. I think Diallo will be OK in the championship to be honest. Ely is barely even championship level.

Was talking about the leaked government WhatsApp’s from Hancock etc. where they were all talking about intentionally creating fear of covid so that they could justify longer lockdowns and coerce vaccinations of the population. The sort of stuff that should have them all instantly thrown in jail. But also the stuff that proves Le Tiss was asking good questions.

Very, very well said The fact is, those leaked WhatsApp messages that came out from the government the other day essentially vindicated 95% of what he was saying. Id trust Le Tiss over most of the pricks in Westminster, personally.

I think he would arguably be better in todays systems, if he could lay off the Big Macs. (Big ‘if’) Players are very much more protected now than back in his day. He was getting clattered every week etc. - and let’s face it, playing with a lot of crap players over the years It’s not an exaggeration to say he was a football genius. I think he’s one of the most underrated footballers ever because he played for little ol’ saints. I have seen Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo etc. in the flesh too, and honestly, on some days MLT was at that level of unplayable. He could do things with the football that were hard to believe.

He’s the midfielder we’ve been crying out for for years… Aggressive, good in tight spaces, ability to break the lines. I guess the language barrier has been stopping him playing, but it doesn’t matter. We need to play Alcaraz, Lavia, JWP as often as we physically can IMO.
