  1. Atmosphere nowhere near what it was on Sunday. Just saying
  2. Love it, so chuffed for him. Been class this season. Great to see after the idiotic abuse he got online.
  3. Injury has slowed him down, and he relied on explosive pace. It would be a huge gamble, like Stewart. As with Lallana and Ings, if our scouting department has anything about it, they should be able to find better.
  4. Don’t want ings back. Don’t want lallana back. We can do better than both.
  5. Great overview of the season here by a journalist that used to write for the Saints programme: https://www.ntt20.com/p/sam-tighe-how-southampton-rode-the?r=1l2n8x&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
  6. Whether he’s up to the task tactically or not for PL, I love him as a bloke. His reactions and interviews this weekend have been amazing. What a guy. Deserves plenty of time and patience next season as he has clearly been learning from his mistakes this season, full credit to him for that.
  7. Still buzzing with the last few weeks. People talk about Liverpool, Leeds, etc as having the loudest / most passionate fans. I’ve seen people criticise southerners for being quiet/boring whatever. But it’s all bollocks. the last few games the support has been absolutely magnificent. It won’t be talked about anywhere apart from on here or amongst saints fans but it’s been something truly special. Hope the new stadium improvements can add even more to it. Up the fucking saints.
  8. Doesn’t fucking get any better than this moment right here. Unreal from everyone. What an atmosphere. Outsang the Leeds the whole game, and they were loud as fuck themselves. Fucking quality. Absolutely quality. Still buzzing. What a weekend
  9. FUCKING GET IN THERE What a day Get in!!
  10. This has to be a wind up?
  11. I couldn’t get on at Fleet. Had to wait for the slower one after. Was jokes 😂. Never seen a busier train
  12. I’m on the beers and I’m not sobering up until saints are back in the premier league
  13. Hoping we can make Wembley Way as red and white as outside of St Mary’s was on Friday night. Well excited for this one
  14. Tickets ordered. Red flares ordered. Up the fucking saints
  15. 2 very good championship teams. 2 very loud and passionate fan bases. Should be an absolute cracker of a day.
  16. Abysmal signing really. What’s the point in a football player that can only play 12 minutes every 9 months?
  17. Your ability to judge goalkeepers is on par with your ability to take photographs
  18. Ref is a prick. Stonewall. Utter bell end
  19. He wouldn’t have saved both and you know it.
  20. Obviously
  21. Wishing everyone well, no matter the result. Hope everyone’s enjoying the sunshine. Up the fucking saints.
  22. If he’s out, it’s a huge issue. We are nowhere near as good without his presence up front.
  23. And where is JWP now? On the bench again, as West Ham slowly fall away from Europe... The gap between Prowsey and Downes is nowhere near as big as you’re making out. (To be clear - I love prowsey. I’m not trying to slate him at all. But you’re overrating him massively here. Downes could easily prove to be better if given a run at the PL. ) I’d happily take both of them back if we go up.
  24. You’re overlooking 2 facts: 1) That David Moyes is a football terrorist who hates good footballers. 2) The level that West Ham are aiming for (Europe) is way above the level we and a few other solid PL clubs are aiming. A sane PL manager would have kept Downes at the club imo. Most WHU fans felt the same.
  25. it shouldn’t amaze you. There are plenty of managers with more experience that we could have got. Martin was (and is) a huge gamble based on his record.
