  1. The first home shirt template is better than the 125th anniversary kit... and that was gorgeous. First yellow template is also a beaut too. We can just dream though
  2. I think every single name at the start was English-based. Still, was in his first season at Lens and doing a good job with no budget. I don't think he felt like a name who could be available / interested, even if Spores was considering him.
  3. If we are thinking of keepers, then Owen Goodman may be worth a shout (??) Whether Palace want to sell is one thing, but they will at least want to loan him out to a team in the Championship
  4. Feels odd to see you use the word "reasoned"... but I meant in relation to him being there if he was about to become manager of Saints' first team. In other words, it made little sense and for some not to be so easily dramatic
  5. Not sure of the benefit of going to an u21s match when the vast majority of the side is expected to be released in a week's time
  6. I understood that two candidates had been identified and recommended to the board. Im not sure the amount of compensation we are, or are not, prepared to pay is a factor before either has been interviewed. Simply going off the noises circulating, Still comes across as a better fit on many levels... even in terms of his character
  7. The histrionics are top level. It's ok not to agree or share the same opinion, but, sheesh... don't give yourselves a coronary.
  8. You are not convinced by the potential appointment, I'm guessing??
  9. That's fair enough. I would just say that I don't think they make appointments and signings just to be clever. That would be at the bottom of the list of criteria.
  10. Would like to think it's the love of the club ... the team you support, that sells tickets Plus, I think it's a much more interesting choice of those particular two.
  11. Lampard is not my number one, but I feel he is someone who could be sold on Saints if Coventry do not go up. My preference is for Michael Carrick or Will Still... then Lampard, Danny Rohl & Steve Cooper. Just a shame Saints did not appoint Xabi Alonso as I wanted him to replace Pellegrino in Jan 2018. If only people would listen...
  12. Rydstrom was high on the list of candidates for the Brighton job last summer. Not a manager I'm that familiar with. Personally, I favour Lampard or Carrick. Though, I'm beginning to think Coopeer is a solid, steady appointment.
  13. People overlooking Lallana?

    Tyler Dibling

Signed a new contract a year ago until 2026, which i assume is end of June. 18 months wouldn't mean we sold to the first tyre-kicker. Selling in January makes little sense to both the club and the player (his development will be slowed by no longer being one of the first names on the teamsheet).
  15. Orri Oskarsson would be nice. I'd rather we sell him to city than Kobenhavn.
  16. England U21 keeper. Played in the last qualifier under Carsley.... being tracked by Arsenal.
  17. "Context", if you will 😉
  18. Yes, I've been thinking that he should be on the list too.. with Haji Wright, Chris Wood, Nketia... may be Piroe too
  19. It makes so much sense.. with an obligation to buy. I get all the reasons for leaving last year. He is better than anything we have in midfield (obviously way too early on Fernandes). Please get this done
  20. So, who is on the list as the desperately needed 9? Broja (??) Abrahams Ioannidis Kalimuendo
  21. Interestingly, Kotarski is just above him in the list. He was linked several times much earlier in the transfer window (and weirdly was not in Croatia's euro 24 squad).
  22. And can I ask if you are pleased/excited by the name... or is it not really much of an improvement? Thanks
  23. I haven't really seen anything of Asprilla but his is another name that has been mentioned numerous times (though with no actual links suggesting we are interested). Watford are resigned to losing him for the right price
  24. Gustavo Hamer would be a cracking alternative... and cheaper if its about the fee or getting money from player sales first
  25. I had a similar issue when getting tickets for Manchester United recently. As that fixture is category A, the friends & family members have to be a current member or ST holder and have a purchase history. You may find the current customer rule applies for all matches ???
