Well, how many of us honestly expected that result today. Delighted, but shocked. Are we going to become one of those very frustrating sides who can turn it on sometimes, but not always? I liked the starting XI and have always like SA. I think he gives us a lot more than most people credit him for. Got to follow this up with another high tempo job on Tuesday at Stoke or it will all be for nothing.

Realistically, we cannot expect bugger all from this game. Leeds are on form, we are heading the totally opposite way. They used to be a bit suspect at the back, so perhaps if we can click going forward we might score one or two, but we will concede more than that. The thing is though, most predictions can only go on last game(s) form. This might be the one where RM gets it totally right and the players are well up for it, giving 100% for 90 minutes. That is what it will take for us to even get a point. I am thinking very likely to be something like a 2-4 final score.

Honestly cannot see much other than a defeat here. I don't think RM is capable or indeed even willing to change his ways and beliefs to make the defence tougher. So, I figure we will again concede at least 2. We might well pinch a draw, but it is so hard to see the future after an international break. Will we have things sorted much better in two weeks? I doubt that. We can certainly do better going forward and may well score 2 or 3 ourselves, but we will need to just to get a draw.

Something is wrong with SFC. It makes no sense that we can turn out such poor performances. I suspect it is player revolt against the managers wishes. Seems players don't want to play a certain way and are upset and or confused about tactics. This has happened too much. Toward the end of RH reign, then again with NJ and RS. If not, we will just remain at this level for many years to come.

I fancy that this is perhaps our easiest game of the season so far, on paper at least. Some will Sheff. Wed. as they are bottom without a point so far, and I agree to some extent, but as a first game of the season they are never so easy. Sunderland are also newly promoted and are without their best forward player. So for me this is a very winnable game. That said, being we are still a work in progress I would take a draw.
