  1. There’s a huge difference between a business and a public service having worked for both. Agree that the funding can be better directed and invested but businesses and public services take entirely different perspectives on what’s good for shareholders vs service users/critically ill/free at point of use/politicians.
  2. Lovely part of New Zealand that. Their Sauvignon Blanc gets good reviews https://www.wineenthusiast.com/buying-guide/duck-hunter-2022-sauvignon-blanc-marlborough/?srsltid=AfmBOorHkasiiJdYzso911csS_Ih1StRH6KvxUvoAXRjDhPpQkKBrmat
  3. We have more of them for Christmas, they went well with the Small Beer Stout. Family coming up tomorrow, pub lined up in Oxfordshire for lunch. Missus driving back so will try out the ales there.
  4. And if that gives her a vote on the SR board, it helps outvote Rasmus and Kraft with Dragan with the casting vote if needed.
  5. Agree to an extent but Will should also have been told by the club to bulk up over the summer as Drew Surman had to do when he joined Wolves to be able to play in the PL otherwise he’d be loaned out again because the CM areas are so much bigger and more athletic. Has the first touch and technical ability for the top flight but you can’t be 10 stone dripping wet and play in central midfield in the current day PL.
  6. Probably frustrated as well at not picking up their three points before Martin got the tin tack. I didn’t hear anything getting on the players backs at all. There was the ironic ‘we had a shot’ chant but we can be allowed some gallows humour at the very least.
  7. Stealing a very substantial wage since his knee injury v Burnley.
  8. Yep, seems to have been plenty of evidence online he was an unstable risk.
  9. Also followed and re-tweeted extremist content from Elon Musk, Tommy Robinson and AFD accounts apparently.
  10. Aren’t most of them tbh? With the odd exception of newbies not tainted by PGMOL.
  11. He is but not the big fella you wanted.
  12. Quite, he isn’t a PL player but vital last season and scored the goal to take us up.
  13. Great, another ‘benefit’ of Russell Martin’s time at the club. SAA can’t be too thrilled either.
  14. What were the rumours of mistreatment?
  15. Agree on the first bit. Polite no thank you on the second.
  16. It was but better to eliminate that out of his game this season through minutes/coachinh and then be one of the star performers in the Champ next season.
  17. They did but Les Dennis would have been more effective and reliable. Could bring Carlton Palmer out of retirement, similar physical attributes and first touch even in his 50s.
  18. Keep him around the squad though, and getting minutes, as need him next season.
  19. Horse bolted there now.
  20. Nathan Wood hopefully will go on to be a positive aspect to salvage from this season. Give Edwards some cameos and loan Stephens to help out Rooney at Plymouth.
  21. Lazy refereeing, right under his nose. The assessor in the stands should be withdrawing this referee for an eye test over the festive period. Can’t have been concentrating fully. They got the professional status they wanted, full-time and well paid. Do your jobs boys.
  22. That’s a shocker. Spec savers vouchers on 25 December for the PGMOL cunt.
  23. At least Joe can control a football, pass it more than 5 yards and run, albeit in a gangly way sometimes. All things Lesley is incapable of.
  24. Even if the WP was ready, probably why Juric being in charge today wouldn’t have been fair as at least gets a couple of days to start coaching the players to play at a decent lick again.
  25. Will do an important job again next season but sell him if we go up to another side with aspirations to go up.
