Scienza as well. Still was keen on two wingers and you need four for the games we have with Robinson and Fraser. Early days with Downs and Archer might be better suited as a sole central striker with Azaz and Fellows linking with him and a progressive midfield playing him in far earlier. Stewart has looked tidy when fit this year so far, AA is the dilemma. 💯 has the pedigree at this level but not a winger and not a central striker. Tricky one for Still but good issue to have. Unless AA off but I think BBD will be. And needs to be for his sake, confidence in the gutter.

Glad it wasn’t just me. I love wingers and #10s but this is a type of player we’ve been lacking for quite a while. Our midfield has been unbalanced over the last couple of years.

This is very important, the risk with too many loans is that they’ve on the fringes at their parent clubs even if it’s a higher level and by the time they get fully match fit it is October and you are 10 points off the automatic places. That and hopefully, IF we were promoted again this season or next that they have the ability to adapt in the PL. On paper, much better quality than what we recruited last summer and the high turnover is welcome after the train wreck of 2024/25. But we will find out on grass over the next 12-24 months.
