Makes a difference to the Beats by Dre earphones you normally see the players wearing I suppose.

And furthermore, what is the point of just dropping Michael Salisbury for one game? How does that help bring him and most of the others up to some form of standard? John Brooks is no better. Astonishing that such inept people are allowed to get this far in their profession. Referees also need to be stronger and more assertive. Funny how Chelsea benefit both weeks isn’t it? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce93l9j0xk8o

Two of Reform’s finest in action https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx27xj85y5lo

He’ll go though because 12 months of contract to go and doesn’t fit Still’s system. Good player, just not physically independent enough to win battles in a midfield two. Bree and Taylor almost certainly, Taylor to Boro was the rumour, BBD went to Derby today. Aribo will be targeting Saudi and if that fails move to Turkey. Fits with Blackmore’s 4-5 out.
-
Probably more likely, wondered where the Doumbia rumour had come from though.
-
Suggests to me that Still and the coaches don’t think Sesay is quite ready for regular first team action at this level, but question marks over Downes after yesterday (question marks or skid marks - you decide). Four first team midfielders assuming Downes stays and Smallbone and Aribo depart is probably right over a long season with two games per week frequently. I think Aribo and his agent want Saudi so maybe not gone tomorrow. With Jelert coming in, seems likely Taylor and/or Bree are departing.

Came out of his bum like Pedigree Chum.

Bring in Paul Weller the former Burnley winger as coach, he can style the gel. Rather than the pop star from Woking.

We have now, 213/8, 41 needed with 14 balls to go. If Imam was still there, might have still had a chance but not now. Barring a miracle we should be in the final v Worcs. Tight bowling early on helped and Yorks didn’t have the Mayes and Currie contributions around Imam that we had around Dawson. People moan about the 💯 but look at how Currie’s game has come on and a lot of innovation by Dawson as well. Dawson’s knock has to go do down as one of the great Hampshire innings surely? Brilliant to watch him, Mayes then Currie.

2-3 wasn’t it after being 2-0 up? MLG mode deactivated.

It is the contrariness and stubbornness that makes the thread irritating though. Free kick yesterday - lots of talk about his positioning but nobody saves that, perfect free kick and reminded me of JWP’s down the other end during Project Restart. 1st goal - goalkeeping error. Has to be getting a hand or at worst fingers to that and turning it around the post. Decent strike but no there’s no real deviation on it, decent but standard save which should be made. Seeing people post that those type of shots are impossible to save clearly didn’t see McCarthy make identical saves at Norwich midweek.
-
Pretty clear what the old men voted for there.
-
Rangers the better side, just that final ball needs to be slightly better. Gassama in behind again there and just needs to be slightly better. Rodgers has totally lost his mojo - Celtic dire and their own midweek Europe disaster.
-
Loan with an option I’d have thought.

The next game is definitely one to bash the Bishop in, and their other nine outfield players as well.
-
Cheers, good to know, I’d be more concerned about the ticker some of the players who have been here a while - Downes, Bazunu, AA - than I would be about this week’s additions or Mads. Atmosphere will spur them on if anything.
-
Great article as ever @L1Minus10 and honest, fair and objective about Baz. No slaughtering him and weak defending but that first goal shouldn’t go in period, it gets worse every time you see it and personally McCarthy has to start v the filth. No chance whatsoever with the free kick though, prime Gordon Banks wouldn’t have stopped that.
-
Tom Fellows was certainly up for it (did well vs Wolves in their feisty encounter in the FA Cup live on ITV) so no reason Azaz wouldn’t be (he’s played in Boro v Sunderland) and Casper Jander has probably experienced some German clashes with a bit of edge on them.
-
I think the groundsman of those sports pitches would have said so, he created huge tyre skid marks as he swerved to a halt!

Funny enough, Voice of America has a track record of opposing fascist propaganda, no wonder Trump wanted to abolish it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdd38v3zvjdo Funnily enough China, a totalitarian state, thinks this is a positive move.

Best that Russ doesn’t attend the White House

‘Ding Dong, Ding Dong, where’s your bell gone?’ Recall us also singing ‘have you ever had a shag?’ In 2003. Some of the GRT songs during those game are probably a stadium ban these days though….
-
One of our players mid-90s hadn’t turned up close to kick off, we were just about to confirm the line up and he appeared in his car (probably failing a breath test if caught) doing a swerving emergency stop on the edge of the pitch. ’I’m here now lads, ready to play’….ugh and 🤮 on the pitch

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg
Gloucester Saint replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Shrewd observation. Pity Stewart can’t stay fit for long as he will actually play with his back to goal a bit more and link up, albeit from a limited sample size. It’s the aspect of Che’s game we never replaced and it adds to the pressure on the midfield and defence. -
Joe’s a good player at this level, less so PL, but I don’t think he’s a Will Still player and he’s also wanted out for ages. He will go to Turkey in their window, maybe Saudi as a squad option somewhere. Edozie one of the ITKs reckoned was virtually complete to Bruges since they made ECL league stage. Smallbone and Wrexham close too apparently, into the final details. Derby favourites on BBD and apparently Saints don’t want to send him to another top 6 prospect. Big wages for Derby to fund though.
