Oh no Mick Mills's Achievements

  1. Agreed. We should have brought on Aribo instead of Bree. I've got no issue with the way Rusk set the team up , it just needed altering for the last 20 minutes and for us to push two players forwards and keep them there . Aribo and Dibling perhaps?
  2. Lots of people were impressed with Stewart. Personally I thought he was poor. Pleased for him to come from his injury issues and he gave his all but from where I was sat in the Itchen centre, every long high ball he was jumping up 2 yards too forwards and the ball sailed over his head. He had an opportunity in the first half where he was through on goal but was easily caught by Fulham defender. Zero shots or headers if memory serves me correct. Rather have Onuachu...they're all poor though.
  3. With Onuachu seemingly injured, Rusk tried a like for like in Stewart but he was absolutely hopeless. With our backs to wall virtually the whole game and having the worlds worst hold up strikers in Stewart and Archer , you'd have thought a half decent manager would have spotted this fatal flaw and altered the tactics and formation. Appreciate with our squad it's a case of selecting of the least terrible sub but surely Aribo in a more advanced role could have held up the ball and kept the play in their half occasionally.
  4. Going by last season finishing 19th instead of 20th is worth about 3m more. That's certainly not to be sniffed at . Not that it makes much difference as there's no way we're catching Leicester.
  5. Tessem's OK , but for me , Dave just has that X factor.
  6. I'd also factor in they were prepared to pay Zaha mega bucks to keep him at the club which gave them a match winner whilst it allowed young talents like Olise and Eze to come into the team and be developed properly unlike the clowns ruining our club.
  7. My only away game I went this season was Ipswich, I took my 11 year old son and his mate and they had a great time on the coach joining in the banter with a group of teenagers who were sat in front of us. Tall Paul's 87th winner was pretty special and we all enjoyed giving the Ipswich fans stick considering how they had done us recently with late goals. In a season of endless doom and misery. This was a great away day.
  8. He played OK,he got involved , he worked hard, he's not a world beater, some good stuff mixed with bad. He scored an 87th winner away from home ..what's not to like.
  9. Great day up here. My 11 year and his mate singing on the walk back to the coach ....owning Ipswich.
  10. Jack Grealish spent a few seasons in the Championship with Villa. Did him no harm. Same as Lallana for us back in the day.
  11. Going by his performance against West Ham and compare it to Armstrongs performance who would you want to start?
  12. Exactly. A mediocre player. But we went down playing ABK whilst he was loaned to Bournemouth . Got more points per game last season when he played. Sometimes these sort of players add a certain something to the team that managers and fellow players see but many fans dont...in my humble opinion.
  13. Sorry to be the pedant but schizophrenic is the wrong use of word. Schizophrenics don't have a split personality or a contractitory nature. They suffer with auditory and visual hallucinations and paranoid thoughts.
  14. You genuinely sound gutted we won mate.
