Sorry mush but i have never heard such crap in my life, you actually expended energy thinking about that?
-
Bloody Irish immigrant!
-
Yes, probably (re my comment about not having had Thatcherism) but it's not going to happen is it?
-
He's about as much One Nation Conservative as me! I don't have a vote anyway
-
I won't, it'll just be a bit **** to see all their smug ****ty faces on tv afterwards, mind you as Mervyn King said " The party which wins this election will be out of power for a generation afterwards " :-)
-
I have friends and family that live there and after all it is still my country,i just live here to broaden my horizons a bit, it's sunny and warm and a bottle of beer is only €1 :-)
-
You will never persuade me to trust the Tories( If we'd never had thatcherism i.e one nation Conservatism as in the MacMillan and Heath governments, then maybe ) but i think we will be able to see if they revert to type because i have a feeling they will win with a small majority tomorrow :-(
-
It's not blaming the state for your own misfortune it's seeing it for what it was, an evil bigoted right wing rabble. To quote Nigel fat **** Lawson " high unemployment is a price worth paying to get inflation down " High unemployment is never a price worth paying end of!
-
I wouldn't give all the blame to Labour, the Heath government did their share of damage in 1973 with an expansionary budget with an eye on the election( The Barber Boom ), that coupled with the oil crisis and worldwide stagflation meant that the Labour government had their work cut out. Can you tell me exactly which policies of that government did actually **** up the country because from my recollections it was quite a moderate government.
-
What he said as well!
-
That says it all "Maybe the 80s weren't great for working people" well working people are the majority in Britain the last time i looked so not really a good ad for Conservatism eh?
-
What he said.
-
I know i'm an immigrant :-o
-
Get over yourself mush, you just come across as a Tory, it obviously hit a nerve otherwise you would not have responded to the article in that manner. Another thing i can beg to differ about absolutely anything i want!
-
So you would prefer the Hammersmith and Fulham model then? You said in an earlier post that you weren't a Tory, I beg to differ
-
Have a look at this, it's quite long but interesting http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-welcome-to-cameron-land-1962318.html
-
Yeah still there, but isn't it in Benalmadena? I will change my name once my fiver has run out
-
I don't vote and don't think people who live abroad should have the right to vote either so stick that in your pipe and smoke it :-) That would help Labour for sure because over all the expats are whining Tories bleating about immigrants, thats why i moved from Fuengirola to Malaga to get away from em
-
I don't think Callaghan did that badly for a Skate, he got inflation down to 8.9% from 25%, and unemployment was falling when he left office as well.
-
That sounds good, much fairer :-)
-
Share of the Vote Conservative - 9% Labour - 40% Liberal - 45% Seats Conservative - 1 Labour - 338 Liberal - 287 I wish! Unfortunately i think the Tories will get a very small majority, i really hope i'm wrong though
-
I agree with you to a certain extent but they can get around it by claiming quite correctly it was a different treaty to which they had promised the referendum
-
Oh they'll make the cuts it's just that in my opinion the poorest will bear the brunt
-
Yes but it depends on where they are made.
-
FAO David Cameron (oh and Johnny Bognor)

Surely its better that people aren´t defined as poor because they can´t feed their kids anymore, no? I agree with you,the rich don´t need child benefit or heating allowances and the expats over here shouldn´t get it either, thats just plain stupid! You could change the rules of the tax to only include your first home at the higher rate then the people in the South East who have homes worth more than the national average wouldn´t be hit, it´s quite simple. Why didn´t the Tories just put this forward? I am sure there wouldn´t have been the same amount of disquiet about it.
