Please Please don't call them ZaNuLabour, you just sound like one of those numpties from the Daily Mail

Posting from Spain, hoping for an unstable UK government? Some of us live here thanks! I am thinking about the poor people that are going to have to live in that Tory paradise
-
How arrogant and undemocratic is that ? His party is the junior party. He really is a jumped-up pr*ck. I reckon he'd love nothing better than to bring the coalition down and become leader. Lets hope so eh?

I don't know how many times i am going to have to explain this but the Labour government were not left wing, the German Christian Democrats are further to the left than Labour were
-
I agree with this sentiment, if he hadn't given the money he would have been a greedy git but now he has he's got a guilty conscience. By the way not got much time for the bloke myself, he ruined what was a great opportunity for Labour to make some irreversible changes for the better

Do you think Tony Blair is trying to assuage his guilt over the Iraq war or is it a genuine offer of kindness? I must admit knowing how much he likes money, the announcement did surprise me.

I worked with this bloke who wanted a Saints tattoo, i told him of a friend who had a Saints badge with " proud to be scummer " underneath. He said that sounds good i'll get that, couple of days later he turns up at work with a lovely Saints badge with " proud to be a scumer " underneath :-O I just said, yeah mate looks good, i couldn't bring myself to tell him.

A good one is eroski movil pay and go, only 3,26 cents per mb or mas movil which is about the same, not sure if you want to use pc or mobile, for mobile the examples i have given are the best for pay and go, for pc/laptop if you are lucky you might pick up an unsecured wi-fi signal, i did when i lived in Fuengirola and had the internet free for about 2 years

You're being silly now aren't you ;-)
-
You are obviously hard of thinking,I will explain, it's a question of fairness, he could have been a Spaniard or German trying to evade tax it's all the same. Philip Green was just the example that came to light this week. The original question was Is he fit to be the governments efficiency tsar whilst evading 300 million pounds of tax?
-
Because i want to live here ,i still pay my fair share of tax but to the government here where i live and work.I don't understand what you are getting at, i pay tax here and receive services here just like you do over there, what i am saying is that if you and i have to pay a certain rate of income tax why shouldn't that fat greedy t w a t
-
When i live in the United Kingdom i pay UK taxes but as i am at this moment domiciled in Spain i therefore pay Impuestos a la hacienda ( Spanish taxes to you ) though quite what the **** this has to do with the discussion i don't know
-
I can understand anyone wanting to be rich, it gives you an easy life and lots of opportunities, fair enough, but when they are so rich that they can't hope to spend all that money why can't they just pay their taxes like the rest of us? How anyone can defend this i just don't get it
-
I give up! With people like this about what hope have we got.
-
Well so far none of the Tories have tried to defend his behavior, so from this i assume the government were wrong to appoint this tax dodger as tsar. As for footing the bill for Blair security,it's the same for all former prime ministers.
-
I have just heard on LBC that Philip Green avoided 300 million pounds worth of tax last year ( 12 GBP for every man woman and child in Britain ) by routing his income through his wife in Monaco. I was wondering can any of our resident Tories defend the governments decision to make him efficiency tsar?
-
Yeah, they should be grateful that those nice capitalists gave them a job eh?
-
If a manager or CEO get a big rise, they deserve it because " we have to pay higher rates to attract the best ". I personally think Bob Crowe is a good union leader but if i were in his shoes i wouldn't have taken the rise because many workers are being laid off or are having pay freezes forced upon them and to be honest 84,000 pounds is enough to live on.

Spanish Air Traffic Control Strikes - advice please
Fuengirola Saint replied to Johnny Bognor's topic in The Lounge
Why shouldn't they earn this if this is the rate the market will bear ;-) ( By the way i think it's a ridiculous amount to be earning for that job, nearer €100,000 more like it. Someone in the Spanish airports agency has ****ed up big time but they can't expect the controllers to take a massive pay cut, they will have to live with it until the existing controllers retire )
