  1. Maybe that's the issue, we don't need a 3rd choice but a 3rd keeper, who is better than the other 2.
  2. Agreed, if we had an good no.1 and a decent back up no.2. Third choice to compete would then not make sense or require any relevance. That doesn't sit right with this squad though. Hope you don't class this as a tantrum, merely a view.
  3. The only thing crazy is to think that far ahead, as its an unknown. What we know now however is that Ramsdale is not with the club currently, what we also know is that the current crop of keepers in the squad are absolute garbage. We do not need a brilliant no.1, just one that can do their job.
  4. The oracle has spoken, no need for anymore debate.
  5. No need to swear, thought this was a forum not an echo chamber. If you want to get 'real' we now have 3 crap keepers on the books. Just 'wanted' someone to compete not turn up and get paid.
  6. Think the expectation from most supporters is that the club strives to improve. Having 2 mediocre keepers and one truly woeful on the books, falls well below expectations. Harsh but fair.
  7. Only if you are convinced Bazunu is the answer. How many teams in the Championship would he be the no.1?
  8. So Bazunu can afford to not be worried about his performances and being dropped. Can totally see the logic.
  9. That was in spite of them, wouldn't hang my hat on this tbf.
  10. Just seen this post, even more worrying then. Helping is not the same a competing, so we are stuck with Bazunu for the season then. Not bed wetting or a championship manager aficionado, but oh my, we are screwed.
  11. Not sure I agree, just because we have a need, it doesn't mean you have to fill it will another body, which essentially this is. For team looking to get back to the prem this season, we should be looking for improvement throughout the squad, this really isn't it.
  12. I've seen him play when he was at Millwall a few good times, my eyes sure didn't lie to me.
  13. I'll be more worried that they will make him look like a competent keeper.
  14. Fair, and he looked alright in the warm up on Saturday. I suppose the point being, there are plenty of other keepers out there that are a better option than a loan move for an really poor goalkeeper.
  15. Would rather keep the young lad Moody as 3rd choice then and save the loan for another player. Bring in an emergency loan should either Bazanu or Mac go down with an injury. Still think we need an upgrade between the sticks.
