  1. She looks all the better for it to be fair!
  2. I did. £700 per term.
  3. I graduated owing about 12k, student loans were not even part of the conversation when I negotiated my first mortgage. It would make far more sense for it to be included.
  4. Quite, compared to my current situation students will be 100 pounds a month better off then I and many of my fellow graduates currently are.
  5. Warping paper? Is this like a Tardis effect material on a carboard roll? Wrap up your gifts in this and they will shrink into a handy portable size. Patent that baby and you can make millions!
  6. It's interesting that many with a socialist/liberal bias consider themelves as more enlightened or superior to those who are more right wing in their views... who apparently are meant to be the ones who are condescending and elitist. Love these little human/political paradoxes.
  7. I am quite certain of my politics, but thankyou for your concern. Now if you don't mind I have some X Factor to watch on Sky+.
  8. Tory values stipulate that the hard work of an individual benefits society. I was taking what you said in isolation.
  9. I would be interested to know what the sample rates were for the experiment. Like all facts, they are simply refined theories that are judged to have been proven by repeated and confirmed observation. the greater the sample rate the more plausible and credible the theory. I am not dissagreeing with it, I would just like to know more.
  10. Now, this really gets my goat. I consider myself a true Tory, yet certainly do not believe that people should be pigeon holed or oppressed like that. I want there to the opportunity for people to progress and develop and hate the idea that anyone would be intentionally stifled if they had the potential. Whereas I consider socialist ideals to be intentionally stifling............ It's curious how different perspective can work.
  11. Good work. Quite scared though that if I tried this.... they would just say 'ok.'
  12. Considering the actions of the rioters it was incredibly restrained. Yes, I am aware that an antagonised mob will fight back..... but after the 'peaceful protests' of the prior two weeks what were the police meant to do? Turn up with teddy bears and garden flowers? This mob attacked two members of the royal family, vadalised national monuments, caused millions of pounds of private property and even set light to a Christmas tree. A f***ing christmas tree!?!
  13. Yes, I understand. Now what does that work out per head? (This lack of clarity in how money is proportioned to each council is another governmental flaw. Damn the over inflated beaurotic public sector. )
  14. This. In most countries in the world the students who attacked Charles and Camilla would have been shot.
  15. With a little bit of simple maths that shows that people in Dorset get less then half the amount of money that people in Plymouth and St Helens. Plymouth: £939 per person St Helens: £1080 per person Dorset: £407 per person (Removing 100k population for Bournmouth still leaves this figure at £475... way short) Yes, this budget adjustment is a huge injustice.
  16. Finally something we can all agree on!
  17. Cut it out jackarse.
  18. They had those in at West Orchards shopping centre in Coventry last weekend. It really looked rediculous and the idea made Mrs Colinjb feel rather ill.
  19. It was just a little sarcasm. No harm done. I am more then familiar with Alf Garnett. Thank you.
  20. I would hope not. He admitted he was talking crap so that can't be the flash point.
