  1. Not sure they ever did, was rumoured in 2010 they were going to but it didn't happen , funny old video from that day
  2. Amen , pints for breakfast, WBA play off atmosphere required
  3. Agreed, that seems reasonable
  4. Actually ignore me, would also need a purchase from previous season as well
  5. If I'm reading that correctly a Pompey fan could buy a membership now along with the cheapest ticket for Stoke at home and go straight to front of the queue for derby day tickets?
  6. Come on these sorts of posts are put out by trolls to get a reaction, just ignore it. As for the Lionnesses they've done really well to make the final, hope they go on and win it , I think Spain look strongest team though
  7. I'm not a fan of these calls for tit for tat pricing, at the end of the day it's just the loyal match going fan who suffers, fans groups uniting like Spirit of Shankly did with others in campaign to cap Premier league away pricing had much more impact and benefited all of us. (That campaign sprang from Cat A teams getting stung like Arsenal charging £63 for Cat A and £26 for Cat C) About time championship followed suit with £30 cap. Also don't understand why Premier League enforces away allocation to be 3000 or 10% if smaller, but Championship just has 2000 or 10% if smaller, would certainly help us to receive some bigger allocations
  8. I remember Cardiff I think offering £20 if opponents reciprocated for their fans. Hull are charging £24 , that will be a better away day
  9. Football really is fucked isn't it. £43 to be stuck in upper tier corner, midday on a fucking SUNDAY , no trains, really couldn't be a worse arrangement, it's a NO from me.
  10. Combined with a very inexperienced manager who will need time I just don't see us in the top 2 , in fact we'll be quite a few points off them
  11. Regional supporters clubs used to be able to help members out with tickets, I know London Saints used to and I thought Northern Saints arranged something similar , worth looking into in case that helps, although being a member will be enough for majority of games north of Birmingham I think anyway.
  12. Out of interest which aways did you want to go to last year that you missed out on? And which aways do you have an eye on for this season?
  13. Still has said he'll take a smaller squad I think so will be interesting to see who doesn't make it on the plane
  14. They do need to upgrade a few players from last season, seems decent business for them, Cacace is a handy left back and rumoured to be costing more than the £2M they paid for Sam Smith last season Windass is proven player at this level , seems sensible business as a free agent (loss for Sheff Wed) ,
  15. Loads of people do have the chance to attend away games, both young and old as has been explained. Might not be the first choice game you want but that's life, and if you asked away regulars I think you would find the less desirable trips are often the best ones anyway.
  16. Loads of aways made it on sale to just season ticket holders with no aways last season, it wasn't hard if you wanted to go.
  17. Don't be silly. There are some who literally go to every game, regardless of distance, kick off time, how shit we're playing, those fans deserve to be ahead of others just because someone else fancies an away day in London once a year. To compromise I'd say make 80% of tickets based on loyalty and 20% to a ballot of season ticket holders / members If fans want to build up away credits just got to go to less desirable trips when opportunity arises, there will be several aways that make it to that.
  18. It's nuts really, league cup 1st round would have been a pay on the day low key event a few years back, not selling out weeks in advance to season ticket holders with 7+ aways, massive club. Skates, Oxford and Wrexham will all need a high % of away games bought to guarantee a ticket
  19. That bodes well for Skates at home, need those 1500 filled with lads stood either side of them recreate the old Itchen North
  20. Always makes me think of this game
  21. Great era, don't forget Jim Magilton and Super Ken Monkou 👏 Decent kit I think
  22. I think we need 9-12 point deduction to finish above them
  23. Becoming more common for behind closed doors training ground friendlies, clubs like it away from spotlight , no fans, not official fixtures can make up their own arrangements to suit training plan like these 60 min x 2 matches , makes sense really
  24. Speak for yourself. I'm very excited for Thursdays unveiling
  25. He'll also get good teeth and hair which is something older players might take into consideration Thjnk I prefer this rather than watching him turn out for another English club
