Football Special

True, I think having several "three game weeks" helps give them all game time , Tonda said Jander needs to build up his match fitness so can't see him playing 90 mins for a while as they ease him back in. Matsuki has earned some more minutes I'd say. Fellows is an odd one, great at driving runs to get the ball forward but not much else.

Some other interesting games midweek Stoke v Middlesbrough Millwall v Swansea Hopefully draws in both of those

Im not sure, which one of the three will be playing more advanced?

He waffles so much and is the worst interviewer ive ever heard. Nice to hear a rendition of Adam Blackmore what a wanker what a wanker yesterday

I agree with most of those observations, certainly being an attacking player short meant we often lacked options. I do think Bragg can develop into a good player though, had Romeu and now JWP as a mentor, he was brilliant in a few games last season including Arsenal and Man City in the FA Cup, dont think the system helped him yesterday, with Jander back fit and needing minutes young Bragg will have to make do with a place on the bench for a while , there will inevitably be injuries and a Downes suspension that will need covering

I'm sure if analysed he'd be diagnosed with a personality disorder, during the week he wears a shirt and tie and runs his antique bookshop in leafy Petersfield, but come Matchday he puts on his Pompey nappy and wig and seems incapable of controlling himself Makes out he's just eccentric but I remember at an England game around 1999 /2000 he was drunkly boasting he'd fight any scummer anytime anywhere

Agree mate but make sure you go on Wednesday not Tuesday Hopefully shift the last of those tickets Norwich away always feels like a tough fixture, could easily be another Watford/ Wrexham

Good to see they took the defeat well at least.

Lol, guess one of those things thats so awful you can actually have a good laugh about it, dont even know where to begin, Why is it green for a start 🤣

Either side of the away fans was good as well, piling over towards the skates, Chapel is a predominantly family stand but made a good noise today and an excellent job of triggering the Skates at the final whistle, some of them raging , others close to tears, what a beautiful sight 😍

Just been sent this, please tell me its an AI image?

Who is Dobbin? Does he play for us?

I don't think so, wasn't the whole build up last year overshadowed by Mr Westwood losing his wig at Romsey Town ?

Quite enjoy watching this in the build up, plenty of familiar faces feature 👊

Jeez scary number that, i was early 20s then, feels a lifetime ago. About time we put that right, but the way these games go a draw wouldn't surprise me

Crying Kim will switch the tears back on in pre match press conference

The club have asked me to spread the word that despite good sales of this seasons BLUE away shirt these SHOULD NOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE WORN TO THIS MATCH Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Cant stand Blackbore, count my blessings i usually get to go to games and not listen to that fat brummie cunt waffling on , he's been wetting himself with excitement at the prospect of a ban

WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 just lost away at Stevenage in the JPT , surely nothing else the fans might want

Lol just admit you were clueless as the rest of us Egg and you were talking bullshit (even if your defence is you were rehashing other people's bullshit)

Amen, cannot fucking wait for Sunday. Great lift with Tonda decision, just need to see Larin, Peretz and possibly Jander in some training pics please. Expect early 'clumsy' challenges clattering into Scienza, we all know its going to happen , need the ref to do his job.

Not just the ITK ones but some absolute bull-shitters who bathed in the catastrophising panick amongst each other "we all know he's definitely going to be banned" "obviously, we all know that" None of them had a bloody clue Anyway I'm sure some are disappointed but its great news and sets us up nicely for Sunday

Interesting observation, when we signed him I asked a West Ham mate about him. Said he'd scored loads and looked good at youth levels where he looked physically dominant but questioned whether he'd make the step up in men's football. Obviously ran his contract down at West Ham and went off to Man City who have then loaned him out , I'm sure he's hoping for a run of games like he had at Stoke before injury. Definitely a downgrade on feb-May 2026 Ross Stewart but hopefully Divin will come good, we're going to need him to as seems unlikely Larin will play every game

Sounds like most of the pubs in town will be open, try to support one of the independent ones , tough industry to survive in at the moment https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/26610319.southampton-pubs-reveal-south-coast-derby-plans-sunday/
