Yeah the timing is important, do Sheff Utd and Burnley get the share of unused parachutes or do we? I guess when we went back up last year we'd have benefitted if it's other way round
-
They mentioned if Sheff Utd go back up with Burnley their remaining parachute payments get redistributed amongst Premier League clubs, would we benefit from that?
-
We've already beaten them twice this season so why not Having said that I expect 3-0 defeat, Alcaraz to get one of the goals
-
I'm hoping it will be Saturday as could go up as part of weekend for Everton away
-
Yes I know some who have had the collection email, including one getting the email today! I've had no ticket or email still
-
Having a laugh aren't they
-
I'm pretty sure I paid about that per game when we first moved to St Mary's in 2001
-
Honestly think the fan base deserves huge credit , been truly awful season, ground was full and really positive support yesterday, great scenes at the end , fans singing walking back into town , get those season tickets on sale before the feelgood factor wears off ha

I do agree that Manchester City's slow approach play was much better suited for us. We struggle against high energy teams who have intensity, I think Pep had been consulting Russ on how to play against us

It felt like a win. Bloke next to me looked like he was going to cry celebrating 🍾

It's an odd record really and hard to compare, many youngsters who do well at u18 level often end up moving up during the season to u21 or even first team squads, but good to see the lad doing well. With u18 season finished why not give him a try with u21s on Monday night, see what he can do a level up Villa won this evening to win the league with a game to spare, we finish 2nd, good season for them

Seems to have a weird smugness / arrogance for someone who's been part of such an embarrassing season, those idiot fans know nothing you don't need to justify your decisions to them Simon! Anyway back to this game, LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN, BOOK SOON TO GUARANTEE DISAPPOINTMENT https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/last-chance-for-man-city-tickets-2425 Having to discount corporate packages as businesses don't want to invite clients and be associated with our losers
-
So are we going to bounce back or not?
-
Been a great game, toughest game Inter have had in Europe since they lost at St Mary’s in 2016

-
Does that mean we're saving our rolling over performance for Goodison Park a week later?
-
9am on a Sunday morning, nice and convenient for the traveling fans

He's king chancer and I think there's more within the business absolutely blagging a living, total wages spent in the last 12 months must be eye watering for such an embarrassing return, at every level of the club, directors, managers, coaches, scouts, just bluffing their way along, comes from the top though

We've had AGES to prepare for next season, absolutely no excuse for being unprepared, but having watched our games this season I genuinely think we are going to struggle next year. Will need to see some real strategic planning in the summer and recruitment to match it, losing mentality is deeply ingrained around the club. U21s and u18s seem to have escaped the mess so far, would be great if a couple of those lads can step up

It will be another reminder of why I won't miss the Premier League Full house, expensive tickets, half and half scarf wearers everywhere hoping to see City's star players. Game a waste of time as a contest. We did only lose 1-0 away from home in a game where we could have got something, recall Tall Paul having a good chance with a header at the back post. Pep then gave Russ a big hug and heaped praise on our brave manager at the time, no doubt he'll use the pre match press conference to criticise Saints for sacking him. Prediction 0-3

Excellent stuff Good to see Ballard back Think it's Crystal Palace away in semi then if we get through unfortunately it will be Man Utd or Man City away , seems a bit unfair
-
This is correct, context overall is it doesn't cost a lot to host ladies football relative to overall spend at the club, and it has potential to raise profile if they did well. I know at one point Saints were trying and through connections at the FA got to host a couple of England games that were well attended
-
I don't think they can be, although teams like Durham and London City Lionnesses have done well with virtually no crowds but I think get some funding elsewhere, it wouldn't take much for Saints to fund a decent side but does seem like there is appetite for it.
