  1. Think Wolves would have to win and we'd have to lose, so down on Sunday at Spurs potentially
  2. I think the psychological damage of continuous defeats will take a while to shake off and I don't see the clubs management as being capable to make the right appointments or recruitment to turn it around enough in the summer
  3. I think you are right, this team and management are worthy of being remembered as the "worst team of all time" , it's a shame for the fans though who backed the club in record numbers and have to put up with the stick from other fans all the time, it's bad enough with the 9-0s. For me it's just such a shame, I saw the pride in the club and the city last summer, was great to see , and all of that has been unravelled
  4. I was with you until I saw the Wolves result last night, going to be really tricky now 😕
  5. Did they say Palace haven't lost away for 5 months?! I say its About time that run comes to an end!
  6. Jack Stephens will know how to handle him, Millwall style
  7. We've had a nice long rest. Palace play away at Fulham today in a tough cup 1/4 final We were unlucky to lose 2-1 away at Palace Any chance we could get a point?
  8. Sauce? Hopefully Talent, Stadium, Land in that order .
  9. Scouts - any particular positions you want us to focus on? Sports Republic- yep, anything except striker and goalkeeper, don't worry about those
  10. Blimey, that'll end up with the womens team playing on the common again like they did in the 70s. Seems a shame having raised their profile but if they're not making income for the club then money talks
  11. My sentiments exactly mate, nicely put, old video but reminds me of this
  12. We should have signed him , paid him with spaghetti
  13. I was reading the upcoming club world cup competition gives the winners $125M in prize money, pointless summer tournament in USA, fake football for fake fans , crazy amounts of cash involved, football is definitely broken
  14. Would be decent if they did. Also 140 anniversary of the club, any excuse bring back the Sash kit, happy memories of 10/11 season
  15. Agree. I would say one significant difference is the other clubs have a feelgood factor about them, Newcastle won at Wembley last week and this event almost became an extension of the party. Clubs like Newcastle and Arsenal where tickets are hard to come by for the men's teams have used the womens game to attract fans who might not be able to afford or get tickets to the men's. I think if St Mary's was harder to get to for the men's more might go to alternatives like this. It is a good cheap way to get youngsters used to going to live sport.
  16. Same here, I think Merthyr will beat them to top spot unfortunately, then lottery of the play offs, hope they go up after losing to Salisbury on pens last season
  17. It's been a bad season for Exempt fans
  18. Steve Davis from Rangers must be up there with our best ever signings ,800k wasn't it, what a great player. Anyone remember the other Steve Davis from around 89/90?
  19. I've been sent this link from someone at my kids football, gets you half price tickets for the ladies game v Pompey on Saturday if any use to anyone https://tickets.southamptonfc.com/selection/event/date?productId=10228646820599&advantageId=10228765664675&fbclid=IwY2xjawJJLPxleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHTrXMS0un-ytwTAi7NUbenSItjcgE73UMbXuK345i2gXKOeK1EBCkRmZ5g_aem_uAOPnE-lcJ0DFIYBrfI0eg
  20. Perhaps, but I understand from talking to someone at the club that they see this as a good additional revenue stream, particularly for A cat games, match already "sold out" so they then give a season ticket holders back 1/19th as an account credit not actual cash, say £30, then sell that seat for £50 plus booking fee , as long as they benefit financially it's good for them. The Brighton ex̌ample is not resale on exchange is it i think thats just season ticket holders who transfer seat to a mate and they charge for that
  21. I do think that the club have a big PR job to encourage season ticket sales for next season, closest thing we could get to a refund is a big discount for renewal, fans are demoralised , will be an easy decision for some to not renew
  22. Some fans have been doing their own "refunds" by selling back to the club on the ticket exchange, a mate of mine has over £250 credit on his account now so that will pay for a large chunk of next seasons , might even top up some more if exchange opens for other remaining games
  23. He just needs time to implement his methods apparently! Reminds me of Russ saying "when things click we're going to be brilliant "
  24. Agreed, maybe going out of Champions league and having a tough 90 minutes against the mighty Saints in the last week had taken it out of them
  25. Did you explain that Newcastle are now owned by Saudi Arbaia so hardly some plucky underdogs?
