Football Special

Feels harsh, 3 week international break coming up might see a few more teams roll the dice after next week's games

Hoping they can recover for next week, want to see a proper battle in the West Ham derby match

Almost every post about Saints on social media , up pops Boro fans , they were whipped up into a frenzy back in May and some of them just can't move on from it , build up to our game with them in November will be nauseous, crying Kim no doubt reiterating he's "forgiven us"

To add to the feelgood factor yesterday the academy sides have had a good start.to the season U21s won 3-1 at home to Bournemouth U18s won 4-1 away to Ipswich

It was a great result to start the season, hopefully can continue today at home to the Tractor Girls

Agree, Larin had nothing left in the tank and even gestured to the bench to suggest his game was done, worried when he went off....no need we went and scored two more. Mubama did exactly what we'd want from him when coming on Lack of minutes for big money signing Dobbin is a shame , needed a first team ready player for that fee

Agreed, Roerslev hasn't had a single good game for us that I can recall

Shout out to the Chapel end blocks 20/21 who seemed to be doing an excellent job winding up the away fans

There are plenty of people on this thread and in media (Blackmore) who seem to enjoy catastrophising scenarios

FA still don't have one do they, same as Bielsa

Just seen his saves, fair play he won Bolton the 3 points

Was basically the same he does every home game, generally let's the players go first then follows behind

He played almost the entire first half with the injury and could clearly see he was struggling, could hardly turn or sprint which contributed to Bristol City winning most of the 50/50s , hopefully can play at Wrexham then take a nice 3 week break to recharge the batteries

True. I've been there and first football shirt I saw being worn was a Saints one so definitely our support catchment

They are coming , Gareth actually looked / sounded like a typical Bristol City fan Exceptional banter

We'll be playing against 12 men from the sound of it, expect some early challenges on Scienza that will go unpunished

Dont We'll get the backlash next week

One other point I think should be raised is in my experience we're one of the most expensive clubs in the championship for kids tickets, as someone with two young kids who are really getting into football I find it hard to justify taking them along regularly, take the Skates game cheapest u14 ticket is £25 plus £2 booking fee, even for other lesser games it feels a lot

Fans do need to be up for it tomorrow though, big home game with 3000 full away end who will have had plenty of cans of cider on the train over, make a decent noise. Last home game for a month , surprised there are still quite a few tickets left particularly in Chapel stand , hopefully lots of late sales this evening and on match day.

Blackbore is such a numpty, always asking leading questions often then suggesting the answer as well, terrible interviewer, fans then only see the published reply out of context of the questions asked

Gibbo has already fired off a strongly worded email to the EFL

Well deserved

Yeah but jetlag, midday Sunday will feel like 7am to him, he'll probably sleep through his alarm

My mate Alan recommend the Linton Travel Tavern

Terrible timing that Hope we upgrade him to first class on return
